Ah! This is why doing learning after exercise increases you learning and creative capacities because of the way nitric oxide increases/optimizes plasticity. Nitric oxide is such a broad spectrum beneficial molecule that doing one thing increases the benefits in other areas. I started to do nitric oxide dumps before I read a book or study a subject or even do self hypnosis, personal development, and therapeutic work.

Leafy greens and Beets also have high levels of oxolates and anti nutrients. Fruit and some vegetables would probably be a better choice for the absorption of essential nutrients.

I am not fond of beets, but they definitely have helped my BP. Every day I have 500 ml of my well water in a shaker with beet powder, l-argenine/l-citrulline and magnesium glycinate powder. I would love to try Bioptimizers products but many of their products are not available in Canada. Shipping costs and CAD/USD exchange are also significant. So I buy quality supplements available here in Canada.

The strongest healthiest athletes combine cardio with their weight lifting. I'm a weight lifter, martial arts instructor, nutritionist. Former military, former MMA, former boxer. Yes I am very old. 😁 Cardio is numero uno! If you want to loose weight cardio complemented with resistance training is the way to go. But do not just jump in. Most gyms will offer a free evaluation and will design a program suited to your fitness and health level. 👍

I recently learned about nitric acid to improve my propencity to have a blocked nose when sleeping, as well as sneezing when my nose doesn't tickle, these are some side effect of having allergie. After my morning and evening walks I lie down and hum for a half hour each, which has cured me of these conditions as I have significantly increased the output of nitric acid. I also have one other condition which only my HNO will verify at my next control. The exercise is confirmed via published studies and is also useful for some heart conditions. I also avoid the Winter cold. Our body heals itself when one knows how to do it.

You say not to eat oxalates. However, it's not to stop eating these things but to eat them in moderation. Even with forming kidney stones. Stones can be avoided mostly by lowering your sodium intake. Along with increasing your citrus intake. A glass of lemon water every morning helps stones not to form.

Awesome information about how exercise affects Nitric oxide for 24 hours. My channel I show how I exercises to train cardiovascular and build muscle at the same time in short 10 minute work outs, I have been doing it like this for 15 years. Over a month its about a hour total training. Im sure my Nitric oxide is high all month long as Im 49 and have no symptoms of ageing or slowing down. Time will tell.

With weight lifting, if you go from exercise to exercise, circuit style, with absolutely no rest between sets and exercises (at most, time for a sip of water, or changing the weight), you can get a lot of cardio benefit... and if you take every exercise to failure (the biggest key to effectiveness), so you don't need multiple sets, you can get a full body workout in under an hour and still hit the vanity isolation muscles like biceps and calves... I do an upper body/ rest day (though steady state cardio on rest days)/leg day/rest day, repeat... and each weights workout takes around 24 minutes... and I average around 7 k steps on top of that (over 10k on most "rest"/cardio days).

I have already come to much the same conclusions. I'm 84, but I go for a 4 mile run once a week and several 4 mile walks. In addition I do gardening without power tools. I take supplements, mainly zinc, selenium, magnesium and B vitamins, 3 tabs per week, not 7, as I get some trace elements in my food. My diet is low fat, high protein, usually with fish rather than meat, plenty of fruit, veg, wholemeal bread and a pint of full cream milk every day. I get enough vitamin C in my food. I avoid all toxins, so no smoking, drink only in extreme moderation, no drugs, not even prescription drugs unless I urgently need them, which is why I've never been vaxed though I frequently visit pubs for a pint of guiness so must have caught the virus without being aware of it.

@TheClassicalSymphony At least you're doing something. My heart is taking it well, but my arthritic hips are letting me down, my 4mile time of 46 mins has worsened by 12 mins in the last five years. I've no idea what my blood pressure is, or cholesterol levels, BMI or other indicators are. If you find you are doing well on your present diet I see no reason to change it. We're all different and what suits one persn may not suit another. For instance I drink a pint of full cream milk per day and eat lots of wholemeal bread, but some people have lactose intolerance and cant drink milk, or gluten intolerance and cant eat normal bread. People often tell me I look about 25 years younger than my true age!

I just wanted to put a bug in your ear about Nitric Oxide. I've been doing tons of research since my prostectomy regarding Nitric Oxide and its use for nerve regeneration. I'm being told that Nitric Oxide or Nitric Oxide Boosters like L'arginine have been known to "kick start" cancer cells into growing again. It's rare, however, the data is out there. I am not a Doctor or Specialist of any kind, just recommending that you speak to your Specialist before taking anything like this. Andy...

Yes, the road to recovery can be challenging for some, including me. The thing about kidney stones is that you can go 30 years without knowing that you're going to get one, with a peanut allergy you know right away. Also: don't buy supplements that doesn't list the ingredients. Get magnesium malate or citrate, any of the ones that ends in "-ate", do not get magnesium oxide, this is the cheapest one and can be found in all magnesium supplements sold in grocery stores.

Would Magnesium Oxide be better as a muscle soak. as Bath Salts maybe? not just because it's cheaper. but the absorption factor?
@uniktbrukernavn
@uniktbrukernavn Жыл бұрын
@@mathewsmith1400 I don't know, magnesium oxide will act as a laxative when eaten in "large quantities", some tolerate it better than others. My digestive system does not like it so I stick to magnesium malate even though it's more expensive. Maybe magnesium oxide is OK as a muscle soak since it doesn't end up in the digestive tract (I'm guessing).

@@californiahighdesertpreach2261 I DO know what I'm talking about. I've studied and practiced many forms of exercise for many years. Im on target to set a WORLD RECORD for running 12km, and Ive studied thousands of pages of scientific studies on exercise, AND applying it. HITT is very popular, but many break down quickly cos they haven't even WALKED in years, then start e.g. Sprinting reps, which is insane. Most "fitness trainers" simply did a 1 week course to get their credentials. I've studied and practiced many forms for many years. HITT only works well with a small % of people who are in GOOD shape to handle the extremes of it. It is NO match for ONE HOUR of Cardio daily in terms of long term benefits.

Not a single claim of cardio’s superiority has held up after contemporary studies comparing it to weight training. If you want visual evidence of which exercise type increases NO most, compare the over all muscle pump of lifters to the “legs-only” crowd.
