I stopped coffee a year ago and surprisingly I don’t miss it. I have found a substitution which is barley based and it tastes great 👍I try to cut a bit carbs and that is a hard part.... doing my best though 😳I had a break from yoga but now I am back as I feel THIS IS THE RIGHT TIME 😊Stress is the toughest one - though I asked my boss to go for part time job (cross me fingers there 😉) and I should let certain things go in my relationship with my husband 😂Anyway, I am a mother of 5 year old boy, turning 41 this year but I am still optimistic to conceive 1 baby. Thank you for amazing job you do, you give me lots of hope too 😊

Thank you for the reminder! I am stubbornly holding on to my small cup of latte in the morning :D. I conceived my daughter while having it daily and had it all the way through pregnancy. However, the reminder not to have it on an empty stomach resonated with me. I am also cutting all the other caffeine throughout the day including chocolate and caffeinated tea.

coffee - done dieting - not quite yet, but I will think about my intermittent fasting that I am practicing, although I eat healthy stress - yoga, journaling and breathing helps me a lot thank you for the video 😉

I highly recommend the book Womancode by Alisa Vitti. She talks about the hormonal effect of fasting on the body. You’re doing so well! 2/3 is great! 😊

your talk and advice are so comforting. indeed, i think the stress we go through daily is too high. maybe it is time for us to acknowledge it and start taking really good care of ourselves, and learn to rest. :-) btw i love your yoga classes :-)

Why do women go through so much daily stress? Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that women are the weaker sex and just can't hack the daily routine that men have had to accept as their lives for centuries. Perhaps if women would have stayed in the kitchen raising children and taking care of their man, everyone would be a hell of a lot happier and women wouldn't need counseling, therapy, meditation, yoga, and all the other crap they need now just to make it through their miserable lives.

I am always so thrilled when I hear stories of women unable to get pregnant. I just wish it were ALL women. That would really make my day and would address the abortion issue once and for all. Don't quit anything. Do more of everything. Don't have children, and don't be mothers.
@BettinaRae Жыл бұрын
Interesting comment Joan. I wonder why someone’s pain would give you a thrill?
@joansmith7649 Жыл бұрын
I guess decades of my being involved in the Pro-Life movement and hearing about how women have the right to kill their unborn children, over and over and over again may have something to do with it. So yes, it does make me extremely happy to hear of women who can't get pregnant.... and who therefore can't get an abortion. Now all we have to do is figure out a way for this to happen to ALL women. And then the abortion issue will finally become a non-issue. That would be super duper. And there's also the issue of the fact that most modern-era women are really sucky mothers. Unattentive. Uncaring. And frankly don't know even the basics of caring for a child, because they have been completely self-focused and selfish for so many years. So in most cases, today's modern women should not be mothers. @@BettinaRae

Hello Coffee - done. I enjoy good quality naturally decaffed decaff ...presume this is OK? It’s that coffee ritual I Love! Dieting - was healthy and balanced. I was eating in a 10 hour window. Now in me new job as a carer (commented on your other fertility video too) I really feel the impact of not eating regularly and the lows... and when tired turning to sugary hits again. Stress - a lot better since I left my teaching job! It’s often work related for me... this new role as a carer can be physically stressful as long days and lots of driving and time pressures... but I don’t dread it, I enjoy it and its part time. Will look at ways of aiding this area. And yes regular yoga meditation already in the mix. Thanks for the breathing reminder I can definitely put that into my day again esp when at work.. 41 and still hopeful. Thankyou 😊

I always think, do the best you can to balance it out. Your stressful job can be balanced out by the way you spend the rest of your day. We can’t get rid of stress entirely - that’s life! Sounds like you’ve made some great changes already. 😊

Some are great, some are filtered using chemicals. Try to find one as natural as possible.

I actually heard a woman conceived with matcha after 13 years of trying, green tea is not as bad as coffee. Still can limit it because of the caffeine but it's great for insulin resistance and hormonal imbalance.

I have a good lifestyle (nutrition and exercise) I do yoga and meditation as well but I need to be a bit more constant with he meditation. I'll find an accountability buddy. Caffeine though...will be super hard. I only have one cup of coffee a day...in the morning after breakfast. It's my moment to relax before the day starts. Do you have recommendations for quitting it? How did you do it?
@BettinaRae4 жыл бұрын
I swapped it out for another drink that I liked. I recommend watching my other video on coffee first. 😊

I am the same with good lifestyle. For cutting coffee, at the beginning it was super hard and I felt so sleepy. But once I passed that, I no longer feel the need to have coffee. As Bettina said, I was switching to fertility tea instead in the morning. Would having a hot beverage replace coffee and you could also feel relaxed before starting to work?

Thank you for this video, but I was wondering if you could give more tips on eating healthy. I am a bit overweight, but dieting as a vegetarian with Fructose Intolerance and other digestive problems (I am following FodMap) is very hard. It is just not possible to get all the colorful and good stuff mentioned 😞Interval fasting actually works well for me as it goes with my body's natural clock, if you know what you mean. I am never hungry in the morning, regardless of when I ate last....
@BettinaRae2 жыл бұрын
I’d be interested to know what you are vegetarian? Is this an ethical choice/ religious or for health reasons?

Do you have tips for gaining weight for trying to conceive? My bmi has always been on the low side, even though I usually eat quite a lot. At the moment I also suffer from GERD / acid reflux, so there are many things I can't eat, which makes it even harder to gain weight.
@BettinaRae11 ай бұрын
BMI is not necessarily a good indicator. If you’re eating a lot of good whole foods, including protein and fats your body may just always be lean. I would be asking why do you have acid reflux? I would see a naturopath for help checking all your nutritional levels and seeing what you may be lacking.

Coffee- not really a huge fan of it... I can def live without it, but not without tee. Diet- I’m doing some cardio exercises because i love because it’s faster and yoga for me was always very slowly. Now I’m understanding that maybe I’m doing wrong and i need to do something that can calm my body. Stress - normal stress with the work about how it will be in the future because of this world situation, but not the main concern. What concerns me is that when I’m getting the period I’m sad, sad that the last month didn’t worked and we tried. Stressed that something is wrong with me, sad that i can’t be happy, sad that why is this happening for me, sad that still we live in different cities but we spending always a lot of time here or there, sad that we really want this but it’s not working, sad about that I’m almost 35 and slowly going to a age that concern me a little.... How i should relax and stop thinking of all this? Thank you ❤️

It's super hard to do. I've definitely struggled with it myself. For me these things helped; taking to a counsellor, journalling, yoga, meditation and reconnecting with all the things that make me feel happy (hobbies, friends etc).
