I have always felt odd setting my intentions and/or saying my smudging prayer out loud so I appreciate this video and knowing it’s not necessary for me to say it out loud!

My husband has cancer and was hoping smudging would help. If you have a specific prayer for this. I would appreciate it. This is new to me and I’m trying to learn. Thank you, so far the videos I have watched have been helpful

I'm Navajo and I've smudged with Natives but I was just an attendee at a few ceremonies a long time ago. My parents never taught myself and siblings the Navajo Way and our language. I have had dreams, Deja Vues and even predictions. Not all of the time. I've even had 3x near deaths and I'm still here. I plan on going back home to Arizona to be with family. I want to start a daily routine and do it my people's way. I want to know in depth and be able to teach my grandchildren one day.

Hi Mallory, this was really helpful to have you breakdown smudging into these 3 categories and I feel like it helped me to understand better. Always love the positivity and how smudging can be used to create those consistent habits. Thank you for the video and hope you're having an amazing day! :)

Ill be trying out this smudging prayer especially as I get ready to spring clean the house. I also use feng shui principles of clearing out negative energy by using clapping or bell ringing and there is just something about these rituals that rejuvenates me. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Mallory, thank you for this! 💗 I like to say my prayers in a low voice. I thank the Great Spirit and Mother Earth for the sacred medicine and ask them to bless the indigenous ancestors who transmitted the knowledge. I silently think of all I'm grateful for and my thanks for them. What I'm not sure about is how much sage to burn. I usually peel away just enough to burn. Is that enough? TIA! 🙏💖
@MalloryRoseCo3 жыл бұрын
Yup! There is no standard requirement on how much needs to be used. As long as it is enough to burn or smoke throughout the whole duration of the ceremony :)) hope this helps!

I love all the knowledge you have given to me. Are there a certain feather to use when smudging? What is the difference between sweet grass and I can't rember.sorry.
@MalloryRoseCo3 жыл бұрын
HI Helen Thanks for your question. Here's a video on all the sacred medicines that I think may be of some assistance: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eovdl4J8n5uSmpI and this website is helpful to understand some of the feathers but you can use anything you have, turkey feathers are great: passthefeather.ca/sacred-feathers/?v=e4b09f3f8402

thank you for this wonderful video 🙏🏼 perhaps I’m not wording it properly but I was trying to find videos, and was unable to, on different indigenous tribes throughout the nation to support when making purchases; their names, locations North East South West, their background, etc but also info on the ones that are in greater need of our support… there are people who really really need help and there are people who really really want to help - we cannot undo the far past nor the recent past but we sure can come together and tip the scales in their favor! Would love to see more videos on this… there can never be enough ♥️

I love your videos, but may I respectfully suggest that you more carefully check the spelling on all of your captions? I find a typo on almost every video. This one at 0:44 it says "Smudge Prayes"

Thanks for so many great videos! I'm wondering something, I'm a little worried when it comes to smoke, can smudging cause smoke damage to the lungs, irritate them or something like tobacco smoke in the long run? What is your opinion on this? Thanks for answer. Have a nice day!
@MalloryRoseCo3 жыл бұрын
We use traditional tobacco, here is a video on it kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4rZfIl7pL5rq5I, as well you can make as little to a lot of smoke while smudging, that is up to you :)

Hi Mallory, I need help my daughter has been having some weird occurrences, she has seen a couple of spirits in our house one she said feel welcoming and has told her she is there to protect her from a "monster", one day she was letting our dogs out to our back yard and she thought one of our dogs had come back in because she saw a black dog walk in and thought was our lab, but then she realized that our lab was still playing outside.... so it freaked her out, last night she was trying to fall asleep and she heard a voice say " wake up is not time to sleep yet" she turned on the light on her phone and saw our dogs whom sleep with her standing up and looking over to the left corner of the room where the door is and she saw a big black shadow... she asked to be left alone and went to sleep... this morning she woke up and she saw scratches on her arm and down her back.... I would like to smudge but I have never done it and I need some guidance... I'm super nervous about what this could be... thank you.

Thank you for this. Please could you show how to smudge a house. It was told me that if I use Sage to smudge. Positive and negative energy leaves the space. Is this information correct?
@MalloryRoseCo3 жыл бұрын
Hi there! Thank you for your interest, and that is one good question you have there. Smudging with sage is believed to cleanse the mind, body, and spirit. One of the biggest benefits of smudging with sage is its ability to cleanse a person or space of negative energy. If you'd like to learn more, you can watch this video about sage smudging kzbin.info/www/bejne/eWfSfI2KaryCh68. At the same time, you could also watch this video about smudging a new space or home kzbin.info/www/bejne/jZbOkIqCn9qeZtk. Hope this helps!
