Palo Santo also is used for for stress and pain relief and inflammation also comes in varies forms such as oil and powder and if you have lung or breathing problems should be avoided as it could make symptoms worse

I’m learning as I move forward with my smushing. I always smudge with a positive mindset. I always know what my smudging intentions are. I’ve been smudging for about a year. I appreciate this very much. But, it's also true that smudging takes place in many different cultures outside of First Nations Indigenous cultures. For example, my Irish Grandmother used to smudge her cottage in Ireland.

Sometimes I smudge before doing Reiki. I've heard a lot that smudging with sage removes all the energy, good and bad, and creates a void, so you have to burn another herb like sweetgrass to put in positive energy. So I do to make sure. What do you think, Mallory? 😊

Hi, I know the Earth Healing ritual, a native Medicine man taught it to me but I also have a problem, I live in a house with ghosts two of them were human once but died (my ancestors,grandmother with great-grandfather) the other five were never been humans never died, they are spiritual in nature. Do you know how to contact them? How to check what their role is, what they want, they need help, they help me or maybe they are harmful?

I have no problem jumping in here... and I speak from plenty of personal experience. I use to be quite clairvoyant so I had spirits contacting me constantly...they do the same to my little girl. Anyhow, if it is a negative experience you will know basically because you will be thinking negative things about yourself! "I'm so stupid" 'I'm a failure" 'I'm fat" believe it or not these are more often than not parts of a spirit clinging to your life energy. You can quite easily rid them by simply acknowledging the message ( I do the next in private when I am not alone due to the fact that the societal norm, especially my family has voiced and judged calling me crazy or high on drugs, one day I'll get that apology. lol) Anyhow, close your eyes if it helps. Some deep cleaning breaths. I say out loud, I know that these are not my own thoughts and feelings, you are clearly in need of help so I am now prepared to do so. When you say ...blank, blank blank.. I realize these are the negative experiences and thoughts that had drained you in YOUR life. I KNOW THAT I AM NOT blank , blank, blank, and so with my divine love and grace I am going to help you found your way home. Simply picture that negative thought, then imagine encapsulating that thought and it's energy in incredibly X-Ray like intense white light. Then say out loud what you have just done with their thoughts, and energy, and ask them to prepare as you are going to help them to finally go home. out loud again, WITH MY DIVINE LOVE AND GRACE , HERE AND WITH MY HIGHER SELF, I WILL AID IN SENDING YOU HOME. I TRANSFORM ALL THE NEGATIVE YOU ONCE BURDENED WITHIN YOUR SPIRIT, THIS WORLD, MY HOME AND MY SPIRIT. IT IS NOW TRANSCENDED TO LOVE AND LIGHT, MAY YOU GO HOME IN PEACE. all while simply visualizing all that negative wrapped and changing within your powerful love and light. Then visualize sending it into the heavens. You will be free. It may take some practice. Clearly it takes commitment, even when this practice may be as little as 5-10 min. As for your ancestors, we would need to speak more, as you may be missing the blessing and message that they are trying to convey! Let me know and I'll give you my info to speak privately. Hi so before I get into what my question is I should explain a couple of things so I've always been....sensitive ( I guess is the best word to use ) to thing's I still don't fully understand, let alone others around me in my life understand ( I'm always a bit reluctant to talk about some of the things I'm about to share because of sounding crazy or weird to other people) but I'm just going to say it the only way I know to explain it and that's since a small child I've been able to sense, hear and sometimes see and interact with those who have past as well as other entities and energy ( trust me I still have a very hard time sometimes believing what I see with my own eyes so i totally understand if you do but the fact is its very real and i have no reason to lie an nothing to gain by talking about things like this that probably just make me sound a little nuts if anything ) . I lost the love of my life last August just 4 days before we would have been reunited after 2 long years of living in different countries after I was deported from the u.s back to the UK due to me over staying my vacation Visa. My soulmate would have been on his flight on the 31st of last August after 2 years of us getting everything ready he finally would have been here but ...... he passed away suddenly just days before on the 24th of last August the thing is although I have yet to connect with him in spirit I feel him all the time my question is if I smudge. ....this wont make him leave will it ? Although I have a connection with spirit's I dont know much about smudging etc so I don't want to do anything that might push him away or his energy.

I am sorry to say that a very toxic and negative person has moved in next door to me. She has upset me to the point where I need to take valium. I try to ignore her but she is doing things in the background. Will smudging help to negative that terrible energy she has? If yes, where should I do it? Not sure if this has anything to do with the topic, but I wanted to know what happens when you have not used your smudging tools in a while and will soon need to use them to smudge a house? I just moved to a new house but before I did, I did not need to use my smudging tools and so they sat on my altar and were beginning to collect dust. What’s worse is that they are still in a box since my house is small and I have yet to think of where I can put them. I feel bad about this, but I guess I got caught up in life and was not always able to clean them on the regular. I wanted to know if this will affect my future smudging, and if so, how can I remedy it so that I may use them again like they are new again? Also, can you tell me more about caring and maintaining your smudge tools properly so that it works to its maximum efficacy? I can’t seem to find much info on this subtopic of smudging. Looking further into smudging, I learned that one should pick their own sage and that there is kind of a ritual in speaking with nature in order to take some sage medicine with you and that you should not buy it from a store. Some of us live in suburbs and near the city so I am unsure where I would be able to even pick it myself. What do you think of store-bought? What is a good way to get good sage so as to not disrespect the tradition and nature? Sorry for all the questions. I found this channel today and love it. I have learned so much, yet still have so much more to explore and understand. Thank you!

That's ok, today's a great day to start smudging! The fact that you haven't used it won't effect the tools and any future smudging. As for caring for your smudge tools, you could put them in a cabinet or box made just for them to keep the dust off but a little dust never hurt much either so don't feel bad about it. You can smudge your feather first before smudging if you like. Usually smudging daily maintains the tools as you're always using them so there's no time for the dust to collect. I do it as part of my daily routine to start the day off with good intentions and prayers and as needed beyond that. You ofcourse can pick your own sage, but that all is dependant on where you live. Despite what some people think, you can in fact purchase it and it's best to support indigenous owned businesses like ours for example. We have a website where you can buy sage and support an indigenous business ( tribaltradeco.com ) I mean, there are those who don't have access to a community or to a location to pic or to someone to trade for sage so we sell it to help those who don't have access to these options. If you're going to take anything from nature, put down tobacco and thank the plant before harvesting and be sure not to damage the whole plant or tree to get one piece type thing and try not to take the roots of a plant or medicine unless the medicine specifically calls for the root. Don't be sorry for asking questions! That's what I'm here for! If you have any more don't hesitate to reach out and we have tons of free resources for you to use also. Is it okay to use a Brass bowl instead of an Abalone shell to place the burning sage in ? I like to cleanse Crystals in the Sage smoke . Removing negative energy is part of the process therefore it's good to have a positive mindset before hand .

Yes it smells a bit pungent but u get used to it. Like when u walk into a bathroom that just been cleaned and u smell bleach… u know for sure it’s clean.
