Dang, it's amazing how much difference there is between Tennessee and Virginia property. I have around 400 acres of mountain farmland, split among 4 tracts, with lots of streams and wildlife. My mature timber equates to millions of board feet, with some trees reaching 7 feet in diameter. I think I'll stay here and finish my 2800 sf hand hewn and timberframe log cabin for $40k. I can't afford to leave.

I have a similiar laying lot down on a giant lake Missouri/Arkansas border. But I live on another lake lot in Southern Illinois, Living by water with views is the only option in my world. I noticed his was filmed in winter. When those trees fill in, there goes the view. I dont understand why they didnt open up that view alot more. Based on the maps it looks like they easily could. Price doesnt seem too bad tbh. Nice video. Thanks

1M? This is something that a retiree would purchase while living on Social Security. It's not in a desirable state and the log home package and land is probably only worth 200K. It'll cost some money to create a view if it's permitted.

Not worth 1 million that's for sure it's not only in a prone flood zone flood insurance be very difficult if not extremely expensive and after this past year seeing how insurance companies dumping and running leaving the home owner holding bag nope not worth it

@davidadams4479 You must not have watched the video because we discuss the Flood Zone matter. The 30 Acres & Log Home are NOT in a Flood Zone. The Elevation of the Home is 500 feet. The Elevation of the Cumberland River is 360 feet. This 140 foot difference is the equivalent of a 14 Story Building. Even in a "Biblical Flood" scenario, there are infinite other outlets for the water to flow. All of this was factored into the plans when the Custom Log Home was built by a wealthy family in 2008.
