I emailed a link to this video to my Mom. She had hip surgery about a year ago, and is doing well, but she wants to be rid of her cane, so she wants to strengthen her legs mainly I think. I think this video will help her get a full body workout.

Hello coach and Lydia, I am an 81 year old widow living in Spain and found your workouts during the lockdown during the covid19. Thank for the workouts for the elderly. I am fairly fit but love the morning workout which sets me up for the rest of the day. So encouraging having someone to "keep it up" and talking right through. 🤗🤗🤗

I'm 70 years old I'm and enjoying these exercises very much, been doing them for about a month. I do the standing exercises and use weights where I can because I have to go to the chiropractor every 3 weeks for my neck and shoulders.He told me the ones to avoid the weights on. Have lost 5 pounds and 2 inches around my bust, waist and belly button. A big thank you :)

At 62 years young, there is something on your site for everyone. Just downloaded the iphone app so no more excuses! I broke my right ankle 2 years ago (trimalleolar compound fracture); had the hardware removed last year and now trying to get back to regular exercise with the added challenge of working at home under 'stay at home' directive----I need motivation. Thank you for what you two do!

Found your workouts today. Just what I needed. A little feedback from a 56 old woman who used to be an athlete, you don't really need quite as much tenderness in your approach to your audience. We've learned a ton by this point, and many of us were in great physical shape at one point or another. Thanks for the workout! I've subscribed and will see you again!

Good stuff. Like Coach says, I use some from here, there, make my own routine. I'm up to over 800 reps (including 4 sets of 30 pushups worked into cycling for 48-68 min, and the results in 6 months' time really raises the self-esteem of a 66 yo. TY!

First timer, here! I thoroughly enjoyed this first workout. And so happy that this is free, because it fits my budget. I'll be 66 in May 2020 and my goal is to be fit enough to walk/jog 1-2 miles without feeling like I'm about to pass out from exhaustion. Feel like this is a step in the right direction. Thank you.

Gosh found HASfit two months ago. Had sciatica etc went to physio and chiro once a week , it helped for 30 min But that was it. Eventually went to neurosurgeon. Had nerve block now at this stage it really works. So if docs did 90 % I felt obligated to do my part. Oh so love your programme. I feel alive again. I feel years younger. I am 68 and once again dancing in kitchen while making supper. You have no idea how you have given me a new perspective on live. Love you and thank you ,

I started using this workout recently because due to Covid-19, my dad cant go to the gym anymore. He has a lot of health issues and the gym has really helped him to not get worse. These workouts have been so great for him. This morning my mom joined in. She battled a bit but we will most likely see improvement in time. Thank you so much for this!

I'm enjoying your senior workouts! I'm 80, going on 60, and want to look as good as I feel. One suggestion for the senior workouts: Put all the floor exercises in one group. Getting down and getting back up are more difficult for us seniors and can be somewhat time-consuming. I went to your intermittent diet page and answered all my info but needed to be given an example of the program. How an I sign up for a plan when I have no idea of how it works.

Thank you for this video, I have a herniated disk and awaiting surgery. I've gone from cycling 200 miles a week to being housebound. After 7 months of sitting in a chair I'm now on medication that at least allows me to move. I have become very unfit but started your chair exercises yesterday. It feels amazing to be able to start to get some fitness back. Thank you. x

Hi I'm 81 yrs old and have worked out since I was 12 yrs old and both of my rotator cups are messed up from accidents. Three years ago I was benching 300 lbs but in 2021 I got a vaccination for pneumonia in my left rotator cup and got vaccine related association from the vacation at the VA hospital and it still is limiting movement of my left rotator cup. I love your routine and will keep trying three times a week.Thank you

My husband is waiting for a hip replacement which, considering what is going on right now, is not even a remote possibility for a long while. I am 78 years old and I love this workout! I have a Silver Sneakers gym membership and went to the gym this morning but this workout has different benefits that seem to help me with flexibility and balance. I had been doing the chair version but decided to try standing with light weights. Either way is effective in perking me up in the afternoon when I would like to take a nap.

We are in our mid seventies and now can't go to our regular fitness class due to the risk of Covid 19. This video is perfect for us. The standing version is just challenging enough to make us feel we have had a good workout. Thank you.

Terrific, thank you. I was down in Florida at a family retirement condo and at the club house they have classes: chair weights, chair band, chair balance and chair yoga as well as other classes. They are terrific. Now that I’m back in Montreal it’s great to have a video like this one that is pretty close to those Florida classes. You can count on me to make a contribution. Keep it up. So great to be able to stay in shape with safe exercises in the comfort of my home. Thank you.

So so glad you're showing calories burned. I've used your workouts in the past (older videos) and the only thing I couldn't figure out was how much to record for calories burned. Even if only an estimate, it's extremely helpful. I lost weight and inches using your workouts in the past and was always glad to tell friends about the CONVENIENCE of your workouts and the great variety available. Thanks again! Just getting back to moving again and it's always good to throw in a few of your workouts each week.

Thank you for this video; I'm 69 and loved this workout; every muscle was telling me 'hello'; I like the pace and the time frame for each exercise; I will definitely be back again; I am here to get strong in my quads so I can get up off the chair, walk, do my errands, bring my groceries in and keep my hip flexors and knees oiled and working; I want to be able to be independent and care for myself; right now I am caring for my husband who had 2 open heart surgeries and is experiencing a knee issue so I am constantly up and down stairs and this workout helps combat THE STRESS of it all while keeping me strong - THANK YOU :)

I'm 20 and I've had 6 knee surgeries and pending a 7th (3 on each side) on the left I had 2 ACL surgeries and for the third they had to go and fix a screw after the first time, and on the right i had the meniscus removed , then an ACL surgery , and then a meniscus transplant and they might have to go in and take it out. its been 2 years since my last surgery and I've been having trouble being able to find low impact/modified workouts that I can do to stay fit so I'm so happy that I have found your videos like this so now I can stay on track and lose some weight which will help my knees more so. Being able to modify my workouts like this have helped so on my bad days I can do the chair one and on the good days i can do the standing up version. Thank you so much ! I'll write back with my results :-) I'm so excited

LOVE to see these videos!!! YES not all of us are 25 and ready to run ten miles! I am 61 and obese and have degenerative disc disease in lower back so I am limited! Used to walk 3 & 4 miles four times a week but my back ahs put a stop to that! I LOVE these videos THANK YOU HASfit!!!!!!

This is fantastic fir REHAB! I broke my kneecap ( I’m 68) and have been doing Physio PLUS these workouts, Claudia level at first , and then Coach Kodak . I’ve enjoyed your thorough and pleasant workouts since I first discovered you about three years ago. But this rehabhas been really transformative a d will please Gd get me back to full use of my knees so I can get back to being the fun grandma that my grandkids enjoy😀

With Covid, my husband and I fell into some really bad eating habits and an extremely sedentary lifestyle. Needless to say, it didn't take long to put on weight, but worse than that, our flexibility and mobility really suffered! Since were both in our 70s, I realized that we wouldn't have to worry about Covid if we didn't get back to a much healthier lifestyle. Your workouts have become an integral part of that change. i underwent total knee replacement surgery in december and am waiting for my second knee to be replaced - now delayed by covid19 - walking is difficult and i can't swim at the moment. i've always done a lot of exercise so am missing keeping fit. came across you guys and am so glad i did. thank you so much for these videos. you are both so friendly and encouraging. thank you.

After using the HASfit seated/standing videos for a few months during knee rehab, I became a monthly member. As a senior I find the seated/standing videos of 40 minutes or longer to be just what I need for cardio and strength to supplement bike riding and trips to the gym. I frequently pair 30 and 15 minute videos to give me the workout I need. Depending on my knee flexibility I can choose to stand and/or sit throughout each session. I'd love to see more of these videos.

My friend told me about these exercises. During COVID-19 we are not able to attend our normal chair exercise class, so this is a great substitute. And, I can exercise right after my meditation.

I'm so happy I found this video. I have Achilles tendinitis and have not figured out how to work out without setting back my recovery. This workout got my heart rate up and worked great muscles. I'm encouraged and more motivated now.

This is a great workout I am 76 years old and have always done exercises every day plus strength training. Recently I find that the regular exercise is sometimes too strenuous. This is great and I look forward to doing it each morning.

Was doing this work out approx 3x week - I started in January 2019 with the 20 minute one... then gradually moved up. Life got crazy busy last year for me personally and I stopped doing these workouts in May 2021. Even though I've been using a re-bounder on a regular basis since last year, 10 minutes a day, I figured it would be good to start back, so I did it just now. OMG - can't believe how hard it was to complete the work out, yet it was SO easy when I was doing it on a consistent basis. Super good reminder that our muscles need to be worked out regularly.... I LOVE YOUR WORKOUTS. I do the 8 minute neck exercise often :) Plan on being a regular again, thank you so much, this is a lifesaver for a senior in a small apartment!!!!!!!!

I have enjoyed these Senior workouts. Since my gym and exwrcise classes closed for COVID they have kept me moving, specially when weather kept me off my ebike. I am 83 and try my best. Thankyou guys. Brilliant!

I've been using this video and 2 other similar intensity HASfit videos 3 times a week for a month. I'm waking up without pain in my shoulders. My knees are beginning to be less painful. It looks easy, but it has just enough intensity to let me know that I'm working. Thank you.

I love these especially because I have multiple sclerosis and I can do both seated when Ms has made it difficult to move . Thanks for showing both

Many thanks for this you RockStars. Had a total knee replacement less than a week ago, I'm categorically not a senior - quite yet - and these two seated work outs are a godsend. Looking forward to for injured, legless and / or seat bound guys like me.

I tried the standing version of this workout after recovering from a bad bout of flu. I feel so invigorated after starting my exercises after a week's gap. Thank you Coach Kozak.

Fabulous, Free, Excellent Guidance for workouts when you're stuck at home. I usually go to Silver Sneakers (for seniors) classes several times a week at neighborhood recreation centers. But with the Colorado weather in the winter often keeping me from being able to drive, or sometimes just from wanting to, I am so grateful for these trainers. They are every bit as good as the Silver Sneakers instructors, and offer options/alternatives for everything they demonstrate---depending on "how YOUR body feels today".

I just had ACL/meniscus repair surgery and these workouts are a lifeline to keep me moving and keep up my mental well-being, as well as let me sweat without hurting myself! I have only had to modify slightly since my brace must stay in locked position for now. Thank you for providing these great workouts!

Thank you so much, I really need this kind of workout to do everyday even I'm not that old. I have a knee injury since last year and since then, I stop to workout because I can't find any workout that fits me, standing workout with my weight and injury is tough. But your video truly motivated me, perfect workout for me to do everyday without giving so much tension to my knee.

Great stuff, guys. Your video was recommended by my trainer who does it herself. At 76 and with the twice weekly training sessions cancelled due to you know what, I and my muscles need all the stimulation we can get! Hope all is well with you both.
