When my doctor told me I had to stop exercising almost 2 months ago due to a medical issue, I cried. I felt so defeated because I have been KILLING it this year. At that time I had only missed MAYBE 5 workouts this year. Today, I SHOWED UP! And I feel great. I am a week and a half post surgery and I REFUSED TO QUIT. I did have to modify but I never quit. I WILL get back to where I was two months ago 🥰

Keep yourself safe. You’ve got all the time in the world to workout, but only a small period to recover properly. Give yourself a break and then jump back into it!!

Oh my goodness can totally relate! Been training with Sydney for almost 2 years and was devastated when I had to have a break because of medical reasons. Felt like I lost all my progress and had been working so hard for nothing. Even now, not allowed to lift weights or do high intensity cardio😔 Hopefully one day I can get back to where I was! Until then, how good are these low impact workouts👏🏽

Balance day 4 and feeling great. 3 months post c-section and pushing myself. Worked out my whole pregnancy but stopped so i could make sure i was healed before restarting.

@@trishbrown7358 I remembered she used to put the exercises in the description, so I looked for them there. I really like checking them out so I can assess what equipment I prefer, even if Sydney isn't prompting it (like bench for chest exercises, sometimes she does from floor).

Started this challenge towards the end of January and ended up loosing my motivation while teaching and being a student at the same time. I am always feeling exhausted and burnt out so it’s hard to find the motivation at times to work on myself. Today I came back and your words at the end were really inspiring to keep going for myself. Hmmm... not me. There's hundreds of youtubers who do no weights workouts, but I subscribed to Sidney's channel precisely because of the challenge of lifting weights and becoming stronger. I even invested in dumbbells, I took it so seriously. I love her mix of strength and conditioning. I feel she's the only one whoe gets it.

coldsilence Well I’ve done the same. Even replaced an old couch in my bedroom w an exercise bench! So that’s what is so addictive about Sydney’s workouts. You get stronger and boom! She changes the rules to the game. Sustainability like she says.... and I’m like yea... bring it on

I recently was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and had to receive radioactive iodine after which I spent 2 days in an isolation room in the hospital. This video was exactly what I needed to workout in a hospital room and build up a sweat (which they said would clear out the radiation faster). Thank you so much for a positive, uplifting workout!

My first day working out with you, Sydney! Oh my gosh so I had to pause about halfway through to rest for 2 minutes and I had to do a few alterations because I was not strong enough for some of your exercises. But I am going to stick with it because I want to be someone who works out!

YES!!!!! For me it's my hamstrings and my lats! I did the stretch yesterday and it helped, but today's workout helped even more!🙂

Sydney = quite by happy accident, I had on an almost identical workout ensemble as you today and it actually boosted my enthusiasm and sense of "go go go"!! Thanks again, for a great workout and wise words at the end. Love ya!

I've been less than motivated to make good nutrition choices lately (life stress, work stress, pandemic, ya know, the usual 2020 excuses), but I'm going to make today Day 1 of making healthier choices that support all the hard work I've been doing with you. I was going to do one of your 60 minute workouts today but was coming off of a severe migraine from yesterday. I’m proud I still got this 30 minutes in though. I feel I did my body good despite the lingered pain. 💪🏼
