This Yin yoga practice invites you to release physical tension in your body in order to release stress. You will be guided through stretches in your hips, shoulders, and back and are invited to tune into your thoughts and breath throughout practice.
Needed:
1 yoga bolster (OR a firm pillow or two)
2 yoga blocks (OR a couple of thick books)
This is a great beginner yoga practice and incorporates concepts of Trauma Informed Yoga as a way to start or deepen your mental health journey in order to feel more calm, regulated, and at ease daily. Yoga for mental health is a wonderful resource to add to your toolbox for self-improvement.
