Quick question regarding high plank. When you tuck the tailbone do you tuck and squeeze as much as possible, or simply just activate the tuck with glutes and stomach? If you know what I mean?

Tuck by rotating the pelvis not by using too much core and glutes. But then activate glutes and core as well. Watch the plank tutorial in the description 🙏🏽

For sure! I have been doing yoga on and off my whole life, but the last five/six months something has transformed in my awareness. Yoga is a lifestyle... and Flo&Bre are really wonderful at expressing that... by incorporating the breathing at the end of the practice... I notice that I can get profoundly deeper in a meditative state after the yoga and breathing practices... it’s almost like the tightness and disequilibrium of the body creates a chaos within the mind (well actually that’s exactly what it is) I love that Flo challenges us to overcome weaknesses that are really mental constructions... the extended planks which start to teach us that we are capable... and aware... and that awareness extends into every choice we make, it’s almost too profound to put into words... because it exists even beyond words... Basically... I wish I could show everyone this channel... people struggling with mental health, addiction, and everyone... to me... it is through the subtle that we will transform the world... also once you start on this path, unnecessary elements of our consumer world, falls away... there is less need to satisfy the yearnings of the ego... the veil has been exposed...we become kinder and patient with others, long story!! Living a yogic life is just very profound and has helped me straighten my chaotic mind which I am totally grateful for... walk that middle value!! Stabilize the extremes of yourself and your world, or your experience of your world will balance... and I think humans really need some balance right now!!

Dear Flo and Bre, I would like to share with you my greatest gratitude! I have tried many yoga classes before and I've never truly been able to get into them, despite how much I've wanted to. I have now been using your videos for practice the past several months and every class I take the more I love them. You both have amazing energy and presence that comes through in each of your classes, I feel as if I am in person learning with you. You speak clear and concisely, so most of the time I'm not struggling to mimic what the instructors are doing through visuals, but instead listening which in turn allows me to focus more on my body and finding its limits without pushing too far. Haven’t done yoga in a while and this is the perfect class for me after a day of work. My job has me on my feet, walking, lifting things for 6-8 hours and I get so tired and stiff. A hot shower and this class before bed has me relaxed and open, ready for sleep and a new day tomorrow.

Loveeeee your recent focus on yin videos!!! I started out doing your strong classes and was digging them but then fell off the bandwagon. I know it's good to challenge yourself but with current levels of stress, I much prefer yin + walking outside. Plus, I'm injured, and yin is better for that. Maybe I'll come back to strong things one day. Going with the flow. Appreciate you!

Week two now Flow My body is oh so much better. I can almost touch the ground bent forward, legs straightish 👌 me and my triple figured belly weight 🤣😂 I've had lower back issues since like forever. This is my ABSOLUTE favorite way to start my day - full body stretch routine with a breathing exercise at the end. I still struggle with meditation (the stillness of it); however, the combination of deep stretches/movement which ends with a precursor to meditation (breath work) is helping me toward that path. These routines helped me prevent injuries while powerlifting. Before, I used to have terrible knee/back aches when squatting or deadlifting. These really helped improve my flexibility, which in turn improved my lifts! Thanks so much man!

@@roel1751 I've been practicing yoga every evening now, for about a year. It really only took about 1 month for my joint pains/muscle tightness to go away, and 2-3 months to see drastic improvements in my lifts. Another thing that really helped knee pain specifically was doing sled pulls/sled pushes on the turf, really great exercise!

Love the content! It's very well-balanced. I consider myself intermediate/advanced and strong, but I have a hard time knowing what to work on next to further advance myself. I would love to see content that presents some advanced poses and how you can work to progress into those (I have seen your crow pose video, although maybe something that has a variety of poses / daily practices).
