Nice honest approach. I have just bought a yacht at 56 . Without experience. So it’s all new and have wanted to live like this years ago . Society tells us we must own a house etc .Given up living in a house here in nz . Boring and tethered to the bank . There are other ways to live to be happy .

Hi André, totally agree :) I always wanted to do things a bit different. Now we found a way hehe. So great you bought a boat! I think you will love it. We also had no experience, but If you know that you don’t and start our small and cautious, you’ll have a steep learning curve and have lots of fun! Hope you find the happiness in boat life 😊

I live in a single wide mobile home and i work on a school bus as an assistant to the special needs kids. I've learned to conserve and realize stuff in your life that is unnecessary can go. And using my balance and agility skills while bus is moving is good training lije being on a sailboat. I am planning over the next year to get a sailboat and live on it. Lots of learning before then so thank you for this video.

Hi Barbara, thanks for sharing your story! That sounds pretty cool and that is good practice. Awesome that you are planning to go live on a boat. You will love it! Good luck ☺️ cheers

Really good episode. For me...sailing forces me to " live in the moment" which I have trouble doing on land and, imo, is the way we are meant to live. Love your vlog..
@seethelittlethings5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Peter! I put many thoughts in this one 😉. It does force you to live in the moment, although the boat and everything around it can keep you very busy, once you are out there sailing longer than a couple of hours. There’s nothing else to do but be in the here and now. Happy to hear you like it! ❤️ cheers

My first episode of you guys and only a short time into it. Always respect nature, yet on a small boat (36', I had one for 15-years) it is more pronounced. Over 40' it is still always something to pay attention to, yet less intense as the boat gets bigger. Best wishes. ✨⛵️⚓️🥂✨✌️
@seethelittlethings5 жыл бұрын
Oh yeah nature is to be respected, very true. Maybe one day we’ll have the money or a little bit bigger boat. But the small one is so easy to handle, especially in ports and stuff. And honestly, with just two people, you don’t really need a lot more space right! Cheers 🥂
