The shriek the hounds give off is truly terrifying. I’ve sent my consciousness out a few times and luckily I haven’t seen or heard those creatures. I usually go back down the big tunnel where we start. To add to the story… last time I saw something pretty scary and was too afraid to confront it. I microdosed somewhere where I shouldn’t have, and I saw what looked like an armored Valkyrie guarding something by his or herself. Helllllll no…. I don't know what experience other people have of astral travel. Mine has been patchy (I am still developing skills) but one thing I have encountered are something I consider to be parasite beings. These appear just at the edge of hypnogogic states - this when there are light hallucinations (visual and auditory). I've also noticed - and I wonder if anyone else has noticed this - a characteristic sound like cars swishing past on a street. These creatures feel extremely 3D real - not like beings in dreams or hallucinations. They have strong wills and can appear like anything from locust beings to dog faced creatures. They typically manifest and feel they are holding me in a tight hug. They try to scare by breathing into my ears and neck or feigning some sort of physical attack (such as tearing out my throat). They demand to be allowed in. Their voices can be heard and sound like a real voice. They attempt to penetrate the body with strange insectoid abdomens (like the ovipositor of a wasp) and they LIE. Their lies are various. One told me it was laying an egg of a high being in me. One attempted to convince me that it had been in love with me for 700 years and would serve me well. I have spent a lot of my life exploring different states of consciousness and dreams. These things are not like dreams or hallucinations. They feel as "real" as any 3D being I have encountered. They smell bad. They feel physically real (my hand once slid into to mouth of one - it was full of fangs and slimy, like a dog mouth). But my understanding is that universal law of choice exists in the astral realm as everywhere else. If you tell these creatures they do not have permission to enter your body, they are required to depart. This can be difficult, as they exploit the phenomenon of sleep paralysis, however, thoughts and "inner resistance" also count as not giving permission. There are consequences and they know it. This entire collection of experiences I have had may be nothing more than "craziness" but I am sharing incase it is helpful to anyone. Cheers.

@@gemartsiha My understanding now is that these entities inhabit the lower astral planes and feed off negative emotions. I have learned to avoid them since I made my first post by being careful not to linger in those zones and to pay attention to my emotional states. Negative thoughts, even well-intentioned ones (such as fear for the planet) seem to attract them. Greater reality (for want of a better word) is a vast, complex place. Learning how to navigate it consciously takes work and for those of us who were enculturated to remain fixated on physical "scientifically provable" reality (i.e., almost everyone in our society) it is a bit like trying to read at the age of 50. Crazy.. I hope someone reads this, I’ve been in a lone isolation and have many different dream.. one dream was I felt very conscious I can remember it visibly.. parts of it- but one part was actually seeing the setting / environment I was in! Crazy because when I got to a certain point I felt an overwhelming of fear and lo and behold and huge bear comes out and just mauls me - but what’s crazy is. I already knew it was my time to go , and I can see myself floating away away from this distance so mysterious but familiar place.. can’t put my hand on it .. but man I can still remeber that random bear coming out of now here but what’s weird is my self then knew what was going to happen and I was like ‘oh well’ almost like going out of bounds in a video game!!😂

@beatrizalvarez7884 funny enough is when i astral project, dark entities flee from me or dare not to mess with me, I even happily talk to them and hold conversations with one or two of the hounds, one of them appeared and I asked for passage to the beyond so I may continue searching for my spiritual path and they rose a bridge for me to walk upon as me and my wife walked a bridge in the emptiness with the universe surrounding us towards a beacon of light like a gate. according to what I've seen through my higher self, I go and rescue souls trapped by these hounds and attempt to avoid them but if they approach me, I give them hell until they run from me but I do not intend harm, just the rescuing of souls trapped in closed dimensional rifts. I have a massive connection to my akashic records that I have been able to glimpse at all my life but when I began my spiritual awakening journey with little guidance, I found it easy to achieve it, and I find it natural that I even learned meditation by myself. so for a number of purposes, I have to say that the uniting of the ego and higher self is crucial to spiritual development, alot can be learned from both.

Also one of my experiences was that 3 beings came to me. One of them was like a huge dude with muscles and pumpkin head, second one was a female spider like half woman half black widow kinda thing, and the thirst one was like a batman type character, very serious, very imposing and quiet that looked like a well i don't know, i kinda wanna say somehow reptilian i guess but he was also not really reptilian. Yeah i know, confusing, was to me too. Anyway. They appeared and apparently i was in a hotel or something. I started fighting them, the spider woman seemed to really hate me, she threw me arround hitting some trucks and destroying some walls, while i was thinking " wow she's so pissed for some reason " even tho i couldnt care less that she threw me arround like a stuffed fluffy toy -.- ...the pumpkin head guy didnt do anything he was just flexing his muscles -.- ...weird i know. Then i was in an elevator with the batguy ( as i call him ) he starred at me for a bit and then we started fighting, like, martial arts, he threw some hits which i blocked then he blocked some of mine and i did manage to land a punch on his face. After that he just suddently stopped and then the experience ended and i woke up. Overall ( after waking up and re thinking what i just experienced ) it felt like they knew me and haven't seen me for a very long time and it felt like they were my ...team or something...and the bat guy felt more like a ...trainer ...master ..teacher of some sorts. And after i fought him it just felt more like he was testing me to see if i " still got it " after all this time or something like that. I don't know what more to make about it but if anyone else has any other oppinion..well..feel free to share.

These “formidable hounds” are they represented as wolf like monsters ever? I’ve had several dreams where a wolf monster is trying to get me and keep me fr crossing a boundary of some sort. There are gemstones that help with astral projection also. You have to be careful though. Before using gems for that purpose I would suggest that you do the following: 1. You should get permission to leave the planet. No God or Angel has to help you after you leave Earth. They will tell you that you are on your own. 2. Get a Dream journal, or just a book you can write things down In. And what little things you can remember from the experience, write It down. It helps with memory retention. Try to hydrate plenty during the day, but not too much. And don't eat 1-2 before going to sleep because your body will put energy towards digesting food rather than remembering your ap experience. And lastly since you have no Issue pulling out of your body some advice would be when you relax your body and mind, your body begins to slow down the amount of activity going on and therefore energy Is free and you can set and Intention.

These are just some of my thoughts - I am not claiming to know much about this subject: I think the hounds represent any negative entity, demon, malevolent ET, etc. Moving in circles seems to signify a state of peace, safety and balance, a positive flow that sends us spiraling through the astral. So, if the circle is the safe space, leaving it and hitting angles is probably due to an interruption caused by doubt, fear, etc. which attracts the negative entities represented by the hounds. I've never attempted to astral project, yet I have experienced it several times while sleeping along with countless sleep paralysis episodes. I am always conscious enough to feel the energetic shift and brace myself for what is usually a pretty intense struggle before waking.

Ah, "Hounds". A name for them. I explained them as Dementors with Nazgul screams. There are other things that realise I'm there (wherever at the time), and they will relentlously hunt me down. I've been with others, and they come after us one by one. They exit me like they don't want me there, all I can do is run from 'them'. One was pure white without facial features and red eyes, exited me. But I'll never forget serving a tall blonde princess(?), she kept a key around her neck, and was locking away some race of little aliens behind a big stone door. I don't know what to make of any of it. But yeah great, avoid the hounds noted.
