So glad I found your video on uses of a med ball. Got an eight lbs, 9 in diameter solid med ball last year and tried to use it playing catch with my grandkids. That didn't go well. Just now went on-line to find what exercises a 77 year old might do with it. Thanks for making the video !!! I'll watch it some more times and see what I can do. Figure just 5 of the MedBall exercises, 10 Reps each in the AM is a good start, then Weights, Sit-Ups, and Run/Walk 3-4 miles - At least 3-4 times per week.

So far so good, it's very easy to hold on to with workouts I do with it, although I do wish though I would have ordered a heavier one, the ones at the gym I used to go to must have been overweight because this one felt pretty light compared to those that said they were also 8 pounds. Great product though, I love it and plan on keeping it for a while at least until I need a bigger one

I’m 65 woman with balance issues, eplisepy. Somehow this ball helps me balance. I still will never be as good as you and I live in an apartment. I do all the exercises except the ones with the wall. Thanks

What he is using is a wall ball. U can get a wall ball as well a slam ball. Slam Ball is more durable for slam type exercises.

I think Med-Ball Circuit training is highly under rated in gym culture. It's a great way to use and strengthen all your balancing muscles and tendons during the movements. It's also amazing to build up endurance strength if done consecutively during a circuit session of your chosing. To spice up my circuit session, I do 3 reps of each throw then do a 200 meter dash @ 90% threshold pace in between each exercise.

Love slam ball excercises, its my favourite for a simple no nonsense excercise. Now I have seen these so much more I can be doing! What weight is your ball?

Brilliant! I got into slam balls in the summer, then accidentally slammed a 5k med ball in a low squat position, MASSIVE facial injury, A&E thought I had broke my jaw 😫whiplash and concussion and a wizard looking chin for 3 months. I've just broke my fear of sllam balls and done a session , Love slam balls.not a fan of med balls 🏀😱.ive started standing on med balls now, doing balancing acts while doing shoulder presses.

Slam balls arnt supposed to bounce.. I hope you feel better tho I've done the same to a lesser extent and with no major injuries with a basketball as a kid 😂

Thing with med balls is the lighter you go the more speed and power.. I use a 4lb med ball I just got and the speed and velocity is fast compared to a 10 lber.. tbh all you need is 3-6 lbs for anyone to gain speed and power there’s no limit on the velocity you can produce or gain with any weight.. so lighter for speed and power 2-6 lbs... strength and power with 8-20+ ..8-10 will give minimal speed too just not max speed.. I use a 10 lber too I still use but I’m focused on speed and power with the 4lber.. it feels pretty light but if you throw it as hard as you can it works power too

Ken Biggs i’ve bought it in the netherlands (lifemaxx.nl). The weight depends on the exercise, but mostly between 6-10kg.

cubesquareinfo it depends on the level of the participant. I usually use a 4kg ball voor beginners and 8-10kg for more experienced people.

MrHazlyn I give starters a med Ball of 4kgs and more experienced participants a Ball of 8kgs.

Mohammad Reza Mostofi Hi! It depends on the weight of your discus en shot put Ball. To train specific for these sports and not lose accuracy, then it’s advisable to train with a weight That’s Around the Same weight as your disc or Ball.
