This is by far my favourite way to learn WH40k lore. It feels accurate and reliable without any assumptions of the ytuber. Im a sucker for people who actually read the books. But the work must have been extensive as hell

Something I just noticed is that people in the 40k fandom love to praise the Black Templars for blatantly violating the 1000 Astartes limit per chapter, but Lugft Huron and the Badab War demonstrated exactly why Guilliman had made that rule in the first place.

All of them exist on the fringes of the galaxy, one notable Blackstone fortress is the 7th in Segmentum Pacificus where the Blackstone Fortress series and board game took place.

I had to rewind the "unleash inner slavness"(also known as cursing) moment at least 3 times, that was a good one. A slav would have added the dog in compromising positions with (insert female family member of the cursed) into the mix for good measure, tho it would have been overkill, this was better(extra points for using the male appendage word). In words of looney tunes show, c.s. goto wiuld be called "hillbilly leprechaun"(as bugs called yosemite sam in one episode), the guy is responsible for multiple lorecrimes beyond the short story mentioned(mantis warriors were used in the "warrior coven" book, where supposedly they were exonerated and their crusade deemed fulfilled(several years shy of alloted century) by the inquisition for aiding the deathwatch in a mission on a planet mantis warriors were defending vs tyranids), and less we say about his atrocious dawn of war stuff the better. Goes to show things went so bad mr Danny had to go to Commoragh of all places to cleanse the palate, so to speak :P Pinneaple on pizza, that's heresy, even to us slavs. Tho to be honest, we might be guilty of heresy too...we put ketchup on pizza before eating it. Looks like Pio is in charge while Danny is away...too bad Joey couldn't join you in the game :P Curious to see....ohhhhh, waiting for that one(if and when able).

I don't think the Night Hag was a Battle Ship. It was always described as a Cruiser. It was a Captured Rogue Trader Ship. The Raptoris Rex is the Legion of the Damned flagship they can be both the spirits of space Marines and Fire Hawks.

@@Balevolt Removing that the novel takes place long before they are confirmed to be warp entities in the fall of Cadia, again, this is the first time ever I hear anybody mentioning that specifically the Raptorus Rex is their flagship, nobody would theorize what they are if that was the case. Even the wikis say that it is said that it was used, but it is not a confirmed source, and with good reason, being that it is the only time anybody would have seen it. And even then, why do they need it? they spawn from nothing on battlefields.

But like, if you got the time and energy to make whole hour long videos with scripts and special effects and all that. Just like an idea to go and then correct down/make the pages on the lexicanum. Because the whole thing is it’s free and anyone can do it. So obviously with that people make the various date/details messed up all over. GW added to its lineup of authors an Australian writer named Henry Zhou. He was notable that unlike the bulk of everyone else in GW/black library. He was actually a veteran of the Australian army (I’m unsure if he undertook any actual tours of duty) and he made 3 novels of a series called the bastion wars omnibus. If you have a chaos space marines 6th edition codex. The guys on the front are blood Gorgons, which he made What came out. Was that one of his novels, flesh and iron. Came out…eerily serious and far too seriously tactically minded. There’s a book by Iraqi veteran of the second battle of fallujah, david bellavia. And at minimum the two books have a massive amount of similarities. And it appears that later on at around 2012 him/fans sent complains to BL an Zhou was quietly shoved out and his novels declared non-canon and that’s the last anyone’s seen of the blood gorgons/zhou I get it you dislike drama. And shitting on authors doesn’t have the same likeable pleasure as attacking say. Logan Paul or whatever. But like, I just find it so fascinating the whole situation and it surprises me with the load of warhammer channels. There’s no BL-author review channel or channels that make looking at authors a big deal.
