I only came across your videos a couple of days ago. I’m a now 50 year old guy, always enjoyed exercise through my life but wouldn’t say I’m a fitness fanatic, I’ve done Les Mills classes and Bokwa etc through the years, my aim just to keep myself fit and active, not ripped and built. Around the age of 40 I got a shoulder injury that has plagued me ever since and have found it hard to find an effective workout that doesn’t cause a lot of pain and discomfort ever since. I walk a lot and I cycle which I adore but as I live in the North of the UK it’s weather dependent as it’s always bloody raining 😂 anyway I have followed and done a few KZbin videos over the last few months for those rainy days when I don’t want to go outdoors. They’ve been good and I’ve got my steps in but haven’t felt a challenge, at least one that wouldn’t cause my shoulder to play up. Then I came across yours and I’ve done four now, this one I’ve just completed and I just wanted to say a massive THANK YOU. I’ve felt challenged and I’ve sweat my ass off 😂 I actually feel like I’ve had a good workout and what’s more, my shoulder has been good so far which never happens. I love the warm up and the stretches you show at the start as end and I think that’s been key to helping the shoulder maybe? These are absolutely awesome and as were in a bit of a rain storm right now I’ll be making my way through more. I think some people take things like KZbin for granted, we have all this amazing stuff people show us for free so I just wanted to say a massive thank you for your time and expertise and for giving us these fantastic videos. Legs were still screaming from the 9AM class, but liked everything about this: BPMs, choreo, weight segments, routine length. It was recently disclosed that youtube takes thirty percent of every super chat. As someone who sent them rather frequently. I prefer to send that money through chris's website so that she receives my entire contribution, rather than thirty percent of it going to KZbin.

I gave myself a couple of hours longer to recover from this morning's legs but they still felt a little "jelly" like to start with. However, I soon found my mojo and loved this mix and match class. I needed a quick workout yesterday and this was just perfect! Listen to Chris everyone! Do more strength training. I have never been scared of getting big muscles but I would start a program (online or in a gym) and would get bored, not see results and quit. With Chris I have so much fun, while also getting the best direction on how to do things and how not do things, that I have been able to stick with it and I'm seeing results! I workout on my back porch, in Texas, so even at 6am it's in the 80s with 70% humidity. Yes, I have an industrial fan going non stop. LOL!

I have found doing weights and core has changed my shape and toned not bulked. I keep getting told I look (good) different. I think it's doing the core and strength. I have been following you since COVID on my husband's google account but have just switched to mine. I have done step for 26 years including weights alternately . I am 60 years olds and the combination. of workouts does pay off. And no, I am not bulky from doing weights. LOL. All your coaching regarding weights is fabulous and spot on!!~. Stretching is curial, as I am 5'11" and giraffes do not bend easily but I have benefited from that too over the years. Keep the inspiration coming and thank you!!!!

OK I did this and I was so happy after! My endurance in cardio is really awesome! I was doing hops and run ups and kickball change like no ones biz. Now yesterday I did arms and was feeling it some. So I used 5lbs and did extremely slow movements and squeezeed every once I could! By the second rounds with cardio and strength I was really feeling the fatigue. It was awesome! Purpose fatigue is the best! You're the one in control of the limits to push remember that! I use to get fatigue because my body wouldn't keep up with my mind and will. I added strength training to my fitness and the results are the best. Chris is totally right about seeing results in your body if you strength train! Listen to her and do it!

I was never afraid of getting bulky, and actually *did* want muscle tone, but I could never patch together a routine on my own that wasn’t boring and gave me the results to justify the effort. I look forward to weight with you because there’s so much variety. I just do whatever you say (you’re so encouraging ❤️), and I know it will work! 🙌 I’ve been dying to know how you always know where to come back in on the step to join us?? Did this one today but basically had to modify or change up all the weight moves. I am limited in upper body mobility due to minor surgery, so I am only able to do lower body. I made it work, but the hardest part was not using arms during step portion. I still got a great workout. I made the leg movements big to help get that heart rate up. I do like the mix up of weights and cardio!
