Hi Charlie. This was a particularly good class. I have had to make yoga a part of my daily routine recently. I love the fact that I can take your 20 minute classes or if time allows between a busy family/work life, the longer classes. Your classes are as challenging or as mellow as my body is feeling at that moment. And all without judgement. I am grateful for the wonderful resource you have put out there to the world. Wow it’s been 8 months since I did this one? The time is my number that ALWAYS AND FOREVER comes up when it’s gonna be good or shows me to choose it. I remember this one particularly the combo of my fav I love seeing my comments 9 and 8 months ago. I’m proud of myself doing this difficult of a flow that long ago. I wasn’t as flexible, calm or able to focus. I was determined and wanted it and that’s why I’m here…. A different yogi than I was then. Thank you Charlie

I love your videos!!! I’ve been doing them for 18 days now and I love all of them! This class was slow paced but it still made me break a sweat which I love. I have been using your videos to practice for a few weeks and am so grateful I found them. I love your creative style, tone of voice and pace. I enjoy that deep stretch classes like this are still challenging and cultivate energy. I hope to see some yoga +dumbelss classes in some of your power flows. Charlie, your voice, pace and practice are simple but strong, gentle but intense. This one especially so on all points. Practicing in summer heat leant itself to the juicy stretches while my pond's fountain drowned out the world around me. (Also - nice camera work on this one!! :)

Loved the class. Especially the transition to standing splits. I would have liked an alternative to sitting scandasana, no way can I sit in that pose. Love your classes!

your gentle matter of fact “there will be some discomfort… breathe through it” so calmly helps me breathe, focus and make sure I’m doing the pose calmly because I know it’s normal. If I want to practice yoga and get really good and disciplined, its gonna hurt! This vid was my preferred length It was challenging and the amount of poses in each work out is great. I used to do vinyasa flows and 30 days of yoga with another KZbin yoga instructor- there would be maybe pigeon pyramid in one with the usual arms up fold halfway fold plant the palms step it back to plank . then only rarely dancer in one and maybe wide leg fold regularly The actual juicy work outs are great but if there was some woman with s wild personality or fast talking or less sweet idk that I’d let her kick my ass like you do! Haha OH and again. It’s great that you are breathing heavy, going WHEW! Like me.

Omg I may have commented before. I cussed myself and my tight left hip and right rear glute. I’m getting so close to splits. It is maddening how you sit in splits so easily with both feet flexed!! I can’t wait to see where I am in 7years

Hello yes I would recommend a side lunge, basically skandasana just not sinking the hips as low, it can also be helpful to lift the heel as this makes it much more accessible for the ankles. I hope this helps

I enjoy many of your classes... I'm somewhere between beginner and intermediate, and there's usually plenty of room for me to modify. This class should be titled intermediate- there are no suggestions for modifying and I had to skip several of the poses (e.g., splits and side splits). Just want others to know they may struggle like I did with this one.
