5.3 LS sloppy stage 2 idle and rev - magnaflow dual exhaust

Start, idle and a couple revs of my aluminum 5.3, 243 heads, sloppy stage 2 cam, magnaflow cat back dual exhaust (cats deleted)
The truck is an 03 Silverado with AWD swap from an Escalade, along with the Cadillac front end

Just stock manifolds and Y-pipe (cats deleted) into a 1 in 2 out stainless muffler. it was a cat back kit with tailpipes.

I’ll have a GT45 on this so I’ll shoot for 600 ish and be happy there… until I’m not 🤣 Ive been tuning it myself yup 🙂 I bought hptuners a few years ago and have been running my own vehicles ever since, and have taken on a few jobs of tuning other vehicles along with vats deletes, etc. it’s good fun

Yup. Running nice. I’m personally not a fan of magnaflow. I don’t think they sound bad or anything, it’s just not quite what I’m looking in an exhaust. Borla seems to be my taste these days. It was flowmaster years ago.

I only ever liked flowmaster on mustangs because they sounded crazy. But on everything else they sounded like bees in a can lol. I think my favourite muffler I’ve ever heard was MWA by Gibson, it was gnarly. I got this one for free on a parts truck so full send

@@StationroadRatrods one of the channels I watch use them on all his stuff. Granted they’re a sponsor, but he was using them prior to the sponsorship. I’ve seen Vgg use them a bit too. Be fitting to put a black widow muffler on this truck after the spider short. lol.

Islander to islander. I got a g8 with the v6. How hard is it really to change to a LS getting an engine, wiring, parts fitting it to the trans? Is ls swoping as easy as people make it seem

Hey man, I love G8s nice score. Depending on the cars electronics it should be relatively simple but you may want to check out a G8 forum or Facebook group and start searching. In a way, it’s as simple as you want to make it. You could (and I suggest doing this) use all factory parts that allow you to plug everything in, that’s including maybe the fuse block, the entire engine/trans wiring harness etc. Then there’s the “fast” way where you get a 5.3 off your buddy’s shed floor, twist all the pink and orange wires together and solder them directly to the battery lug and pray it doesn’t burst into flames
