So basically he’s Spud Web hight in comparison to the rim, and he’s doing way more spectacular dunks than Spud did in 1986. However that’s not the full story: Gravitation and physical laws aren’t relative to mass and hight. The shorter you are the easier it is to be light in relation to your strength - a seven footer wouldn’t be able to ever reach Michael Jordan level vertical no matter how athletic. So, it is easier per se to do spectacular dunks on lower baskets, so I tend to not be that impressed by shorter professional dunkers fooling the eye of the audience by dunking on lower rims. It’s even more impressive what Ja Morant is capable of doing on a 10 feet basket and in game situations.

@@keoncaradine7614 Indeed, it was a long learning journey, I started out not knowing anything, got overweight, injured, trained Air Alert (which does nothing but train endurance) while hoping to jump higher. So During that 10 years I kept learning new things everyday. It wasn't a continuous journey where I focused solely on jumping higher so my vert increased and decreased at some point in the span of 10 years. I have just got serious with training again until 1~2 years ago, had to pick up where I was at 25% body fat so now I'm training plyometrics with strength training, all the while trying to get leaner because Fat Don't Fly.

Use as much sports science knowledge as you can, never stop optimising your training to work as smart as you do hard, perhaps look into training under THP (Isaiah Rivera and John Evans' jump programme), they train smart and I think it'll give you the best chance
