That last combo you showed I use as well but a bit different....When I throw my 2, I step forward with my right foot to almost peekaboo stance and load up to throw the left hook to the body then pivot out the back door off my left. Great tutorials as always!

My favourite: Jab, right uppercut (thumb up), liverhook. Why thumb up like Marat Grigorian? kzbin.infokqSyXxhhRfk?si=uLN4N6-xUvmOtpQK Because it slips through your opponents guard way easier and makes them shell up/fear the uppercut even more leaving the liver open

I have a question for you, i tried out the last combo jab,cross, lead left hook and i kept landing it over and over again in sparing today, would you recommend anything before it to try and set it up such as a front kick.

Probably a double jab to gauge distance. If they stand still then fake the kick and land the body shot.

Shouldn't you move your feet more & create angles when you're throwing combos, especially more than three?

It's not the same as boxing. Footwork in Muay Thai and kick boxing is way more limited

@@adairhz there are many Kickboxers & MT fighters that move their feet, just Gabe isn't one of them. The consensus greatest MT fighter ever, Samart Payakroon, constantly moved his feet & took angles (was a pro boxer world champ too). I think it's a way more safe style for most people, Gabes relies on accuracy & power - which most don't have.

@@redsnflryes and no, there arent “always” scenarios. I think the combos that Gabe shows are more effective if you are a pressure fighter, moving forward and cutting off the ring. Angles definitely helps too tho
