1. Don't go too heavy, control your eccentric 2. Don't use momentum, control your movement 3. Don't pull it to your chest, but to your abdominals 4. Don't roll your shoulders forward, keep them in place 5. Change up your grips every 4-6 weeks

Binging on old skool V-Shred classics that I missed years ago! 😎 I get nothing but completely sincere and positive vibes from Vince, just a regular guy with a passion for teaching and helping others. There is no Ego here whatsoever. All the hate from others in the weightlifting community is clearly a reflection of their own inner inferiority issues.

Great info...I tell my clients all the time...form for function! The mirror is your friend. Use it and make sure you’ve got your body in the proper position, being aware of momentum (using too much weight for the exercise) or going up too fast in weight.

Very helpful, especially the last three bullets. The frist two are common mistakes within many weight lifting exercices. to not pull through yout chest is very helpful, to get the biceps out of it, even though not completly. Its a helping muscle but of course should take over completly. Great content, thanks for sharing!Cheers from Germany

What I normally do is go strict and do it properly for a number of sets. Then go very heavy and cheat a bit to get two sets in then drop the weight to a reasonable weight and go strict again. This helps me get a proper pump and also increases my strength better. I do the same thing for LAT pull down.

Thanks for the helpful tips, but I always confused about resting time after you performing the first set. Ex. I working out my biceps and I finished my 1st set and then I rest. What is the advisable resting time of it? And should I say, what is the advisable resting time in all of your body workout?
@vshred
@vshred 3 жыл бұрын
Hey Leonard, This depends on your goals and how much weight you are using. The more weight you are using the longer the rest break. If you are trying to build lean muscle and wanted to push yourself to exhaustion with repetitions and weight I would break for 45 seconds to 1 minute. -Adam W.

Disagree a little with the wrist wraps for seated cable row unless ypu have a very weak grip strength and endurance. For me personally my 4 arms can handle more weight then i can cleanly row.. my row will get sloppy before my 4 arms and grip ever give up. But i get it not every one is the same

Pull with your elbows not your shoulder, thank you I believe a lot of people make this mistake because that’s just how you get the most power to lift the heaviest in that position so you’re body just naturally wants to use your biceps.
