On my 37th order. The very best advice I've learned doing orders is to get to your Shop/Delivery store an hour early. If it's Delivery Only, a lot of times the order is ready and I drop it off even of it's early way before my drop off time has even started. Never had a problem doing that and I make my money quicker. Same with shop orders, get there early, shop, and delivery before your delivery window has even started. That way you can claim more orders and make more money. Orders that done want their delivery early will literally say not to deliver before the delivery window. However, if it doesn't, I'm getting there early. I deliver for all the apps and Shipt is hands down the best paying one.

You're absolutely 💯 I just did my 32 order in Shipt and everything you said I discovered it by my own and I never had any issues with delivering orders before the windows started. Also I could say by FAR of all other side GIGS, Shipt customer give more tips than any other Apps.

That's why my main Focus on delivering is Shipt and Rideshare Uber for now. I discarded UberEats and Lyft because It's a joke and don't pay good enough. I combine Uber with Shipt and I tried to make in combine with those to App $200 a Day and it has work for me. And I don't have to put lots of miles in my care doing Shipt and I could make more than doing Rideshare.

Yup yup. I always make sure that I arrive about 20-30 minutes earlier than the suggested times depending on how many items.

When you're not working, try shopping for yourself at that same store, to help yourself become familiar with the layout. It will get easier, don't let the first order discourage you. Pretend like you're shopping for yourself and watch a lot of youtube videos, of other Shipt Shoppers. You got this.

Add all items to your shopping list & Change the category order so that it to ‘aisle location’ it makes it so you go pick items in order of the store aisles. Makes it really a lot less runnin around like a decapitated chicken(however you spell that word lol)

I liked the tip concerning smaller is better in terms of items to shop for. I'm self employed and have been incredibly show lately so needed to find other streams of income to help pay the bills. Yesterday I failed to read the info pertaining to a 53 item grocery order that wanted me to contact the customer for each and every substitute. The store that was chosen is notorious for having empty shelves and items not in the correct location. The shopping took close to 2 hours where I counted 93 text messages between myself and the client who was very show to reply when making substitute suggestions so I would continue to shop when he would finally get back so I had to run back and forth dozens of times. My legs are freaking sore today from all the running. This client lived in a gated apartment community on the 6th floor. It took close to 20 minutes for the customer to buz open the gate just to get into his complex then I had to trek up and down 6 flights of stairs 6 times to bring everything in. These things made the delivery about 20 minutes late and the guy tipped me a whopping $3 to go along with the $19 the order payed.. The order after was at the same store with just 7 items which went quickly. This order paid like $10. The homeowner tipped me $10. So what I learned and the moral to this story is to take time and look over all the aspects of the order before accepting it.

Alcohol and Party City tip 75% of the time. I'll do 2 RX delivers (only when promo hits) and make $26 an hour. I just finished my 59th delivery and really enjoy working for Shipt in the past month. These videos are extremely useful. Appreciate it, Mike!

Having delivered 3000 orders I can say this is EXACTLY what I do. This is about spot on as any video on this service. Only one difference is I like working bonuses more than promos, works better for me. My biggest issue is my area is a medium market and you'll have to expand your store service areas out wider.

I just want to say, I've been a shopper for less than a year, and I am already hip to everything in this video! It's too the T, how you went through everything I do as a shopper. I make about a 1k a week, part time, it also depends on your location, if you know the area, and competence on how to maneuver in the store, and a few others tips I'll keep to myself. You fill out an app online with basic info, take a quick 30 sec video stating your name and city you live in, they do a quick background check and then they send you a package with a shirt and debit card for shopping. Seems like you can’t get started until you get the debit card. The whole process I’m predicting will take a week for me. Just got an email that my package is on the way with the shirt and debit card.

You don’t time to do all of this every time. I always look at #1 amount of items #2 Pay #3 Distance that seems to work for me. Also make sure accept offers unless they absolutely don’t make sense(it happens) that they send directly to you.

Shipt denied my Application. They said I was denied due to my responses to Quiz answers. Odd. I’ve been in Hospitality 20+ years. I’m a 5 Star IC Shopper as well. Very organized, efficient & know my stores very well. I sent Shipt email asking to re-evaluate my Application a few days ago but no response yet. Any advice/comments are welcome. PS: we have a brand new Meijer in town. They do both IC & Shipt. That’s why I also want to get on Shipt. I was doing an IC & met 2 gals doing their very 1st Shipt…..no experience at all. They were frantic shopping, asking me where things were, etc. why were they allowed onto Shipt & not me??

In my market area doordash is good still but it’s over populated of dashers niw and now ik doing shipt but getting to know more and more about it and so far no tips from customers… Bakersfield doesn’t tip with shipt… terrible here so far

What I do is, send the customers a little excerpt asking them to "please rate me in the app if you have time" when I have dropped off their order and am taking a picture to show that I have completed the order. This has always worked for me and should work for anyone else. Just remind the customer when you drop off the order because they may not think to do it.

I do updates… starting your Shop, checking in I’m 1/2 way done, do you need anything added, finishing up the last couple Items, let me know if you need anything, finish shopping headed to check out, everything’s loaded up I’m headed your way be there is ETA. Also when items are not available I look for replacement a before telling the customer they don’t have it so in the same message I have a solution. Lastly, I’m honest about the items… “ the apples are really soft, can I grab a different type? Bananas are either super green or ripe, do you have a preference or can I grab a few of both? Strawberries don’t look good, I would recommend skipping, is there a different fruit you would like?”’ I’m also friendly and responsive, like I’m talking to a friend, but still respectful. I get tips on most my orders and they average $7-15. The most I have gotten is $30 for a 4 item order.
