very true when I stopped worrying about strict diets etc and just started eating healthy less sugar more vegetables and protein and most importantly working working out and staying busy It was easy to lose weight best workout I found was walking!

Such interesting observations! Particularly how not obsessing about or focussing on food so much can contribute to being slimmer - "out of sight, out of mind" and being busy with other things does help in my view.

I am always in denial; then again, I was born in Egypt. 😂 From experience: fidgeting is so underrated, as is moving fast especially when walking. Btw - love the new ( to me ) hair style.

Sadly some kids already have a bad start in life because their parents only buy junk food.. Even babies are born obese today. Brazil is the 3rd biggest market for Coca Cola.. They lure kids to parties and events, and mothers love to buy Coka Cola and Nestle.. For them those are luxury brands and they feel good that they can afford it.. In Japan you get better food in prison then in our schools.. Which also has a tragic side.. Some elderly people commit crimes just to go to prison because they get treated so well, they are taken care of and they get really good food. Reality is brutal sometimes..

There are genetically different metabolisms. Some people "have to" look out to not overeat and some "have to" put real hard efford not to gain weight. And some don't have to care at all! We're all different and many people are just being themselves and not trying to look a certain standard and that's alright! But I do agree, naturally thin people move a lot! And the ones I know, with those superhuman metabolisms, also crave healthy food as much or even more than unhealthy foods, and they are foodies, but their not slaves to their food.

You are spot on with your observations! I think the only way I have managed to keep my weight within a healthy BMI, even during my heaviest years, is because I am a naturally fidgety person. I don’t sit down a lot, I don’t enjoy watching telly and when I do, I have to be doing something while I watch it, like cutting up vegetables or stitching holes in clothes… anything. I find it hard to sit still actually. And I am not a foodie at all, it just doesn’t excite me. As long as I fill the gap in my tummy with something, I don’t care, so long as it fills me. I can eat the same boring foods over and over.. so I think these things that I always saw as weird, have perhaps saved me a lot of additional weight gain over my life

So true. I'm a bookworm, always reading and researching something. I could live almost all my life just reading. That doesn't make me burn much fat and losing weight is a challenge to me.

I’ve also noticed that skinny people are always sick. They either have a headache or fever etc which causes them to skip meals always. It’s not intentional, it’s just how their system is.

They are so lucky and probably happy people... they have a passion and are able to fulfill it. Maybe they are brave and confident too. I think there must have been much good in their lives. Maybe we are not all as lucky. I mean, they must enjoy this they are busy with. I don't think anyone has that power and energy with some shitty work he/she hates.
