@@nknaakco3966I screwed the nut on just halfway so the puller wouldn’t slip off and used a gear puller and it came right out.

Im doing the same thing in my 2012 f250, I can feel a the wobble not really bad, but i want to fix it before it gets worse ,would this really help? Thanks for showing how to get this done great video.

The wobble isn't from the steering damper. Could be ball joints and tie rod ends.

Step 1, the day you place the order is to spray those bolts/nuts with PB blaster or 50/50 atf acetone mix.

What size bilstein shock did you use for this replacement? How much better did it make the ride? Does it affect your towing?

He got the 5100 series and it's quite a bit beefier than stock which is really good, I'm about to do the same change on my truck and I'm interested to see if there is any change

@@hoosierLowe so I replaced all the shocks with Bilstein and the ride quality definitely improved, then I replaced the front dampener with a 5100 series and I didn't feel any difference which is good, I didn't want heavier steering from the beefier shock.

@@hoosierLowe oh and my truck is an 2008 so the same setup suspension wise and chassis wise as your 2016, so I would think you would enjoy the shocks, apart from looks which I really like, I also just liked the improved peace of mind and ride quality

@@endurancekennels they are company specific torque specs. I found the bilstein is 67ft/lb Upper, 26ft/lb Lower. Rancho directions say 35ft/lb on both for their stabilizer. Strange.

I have a 2017 f450 and as far as I can tell when trying to buy one for my truck they don't make any so it stops at f350 due to the f450 having a wider front end making for tighter turns than the f250 and f350. If you know were I can get one that fits please let me know. Thanks
