Here's some info on the forearm occlusion as many of you are always curious about this move: 🧠 partial restriction of the blood flow which upon release leads to increased blood flow to the forearm/wrist tissue which makes this a great wrist warm up move 💭 this is a half-kneeling version, you can also do both arms at the same time in a squat 😌 if you’re feeling uneasy about this one, leave it out

im not even in my mid20s but i cant really lean on my wrists anymore because im developing ganglions in those areas (thanks mom) so i kind of jokingly searched for wrist "workouts" cause i didnt really think theyd be a thing, forgetting theres sports that actually do need them. gotta say a big thank you from pretty much every nook and cranny of my body, cause youre helping me feel my age again cause ive really been slacking off in doing the right excersizes

Hey Julia, I get wrist pain too. Is it normal to feel a bit of pain during the first couple of exercises? Not sure if I should work through the discomfort or do the exercise with less range of movement so it doesn’t hurt

Good question! Coming from an injury I wouldn’t work into pain/discomfort. You can modify these by sitting back more (putting less weight on your wrists). Personally, I work into discomfort if it’s a 4/10 or less on a pain scale (10 being excruciating).
