hey sir, i just got the sfas fitness program. im trying to loose weight, what do you recommend my diet look like. thank you
@ScottSmith7964 Жыл бұрын
If it’s your first time dieting I’d recommend getting my fitness pal and tracking calories. If you’re doing the SFAS program you need to account for the calories you burn. You should lose 1-2 pounds a week maximum. If you find at the end of the week you haven’t lost 1-2 pounds then cut your daily calories by 100. Keep doing it until you find your happy place. If you lose faster than 1-2 it’s not healthy, and it could lead to an injury. Especially while doing intense workouts like the SFAS program. It is not a race. Make sure to get enough good protein in. Eat at LEAST a gram of protein per pound of body weight. If possible divide the daily protein into 3-5 meals throughout the day. It is important to eat enough protein while cutting weight to help maintain your muscle. It’s a pain to gain back. Make sure you try to eat veggies and fruits. They are low in calories and high in nutrients. But in the end… the ONLY thing that matters to lose weight is calories in, and calories out. You CANNOT break the laws of thermodynamics. So if you eat only BigMacs with a 500 calorie deficit, you WILL lose weight… Although I wouldn’t recommend it😂 The trickiest part of losing weight is making sure you account for ALL your calories in. The marinade in your chicken, the sauce, the seasonings. If you cook with Pam cooking spray, it is labeled as having no calories. That’s a lie. Per 1/4 second spray there is about 2 calories so they are allowed to round down to 0. Typically people spray like 2-7 whole seconds. That 0 calories quickly becomes 30 calories. Those tiny miscalculations add up! It’s the hidden stuff like that, that you have to watch out for. I’ve been tracking my calories like this for the past 10 months and I have lost 70 lbs. You CAN do it. It just requires that you change YOURSELF and not just your actions. I HIGHLY recommend watching Greg Doucettes videos on losing weight and keeping it off. He is a game changer! Good luck 🫡💪🏼

Hey brother, I just bought your SFAS prep workout regimen, and I was wondering if you had any advice for me. I am currently getting into shape for the Navy seals, and I was wondering what I should do for swimming. Got any ideas? Been a swimmer since third grade but I've been out 2 years since I graduated and I'm a bit rusty and need some tips for good swimming development.

The end part absolutely shreds my abs. The only problem I have is that when I do forearm planks my shoulders start to burn out way before my core does. Any tips? I can only assume it’s because of my form/not engaging the right muscles. Appreciate the vids my man!
@xAudiolith Жыл бұрын
Make sure to lock out your arms and that your shoulders are directly above your elbows. You should feel your whole body tighten up. Really take control of your whole body and tense it all up. During the exercise be sure to breathe first of all and breathe in very deep. Idk if that fixes your shoulder problem but this is pretty much the sauce on how to plank.
