Love these 5 minute workouts! I am VERY out of shape since having my daughter. She was born 18 months ago, and I STILL haven't lost the baby weight. My 27th birthday is in a few days and I think that it's finally time to start taking better care of myself, not just for me but for my daughter as well. These 5 minute videos are great. I can always find time in my day (and my daughter can even get involved since its such a short amount of time) and they don't feel overwhelming. I know that, as hard of some of it may be, I can make it through a 5 minute workout. One in the morning and one at night to start out.

It will be a really small lift, but will get a bit easier with practice. Just keep your core and glutes engaged :)

Hi Katie, thanks for another great video. your workouts are both fun and hard, the ultimate combination! may I make a suggestion? the workouts are very intense from the very first repetition and so, natural compensation occurs, even if we don't intend to. for me it's the lower back and wrists which take the toll. so by the end of the 4th repetition - the lower back is really felt too much and that can create injuries in the long run. my suggestion is - can you perhaps make a full 20 minutes workout (no repetitions), in which the exercises included are planned so as to distribute the compensating organs? especially distribute the strain on the lower back. Anyway - many thanks (from Israel) for the great work you put in the clips!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have full workouts with warm-ups and stretches in the Hot Body Sweat Guide. It's always important to warm up for a few minutes before doing a workout as well. So glad you you are liking them though!

It's a tiny movement but will really target those glutes. You can start building strength by keeping your legs straight out and just squeeze your booty and lift legs off floor too

I'll be doing this workout 3 times a week for a 1 month and I'll be updating you guys every week! Week 1: Maybe it's just me, but I think I can see a slight difference already! Nonetheless, this workout feels so nice on my booty, I can definitely tell it's working! Week 2: I only did this two times and it looks the same. Week 3: I think there's a small difference, but I'll continue to update until week 8!

Wow that one was HARD!!! I couldn't even get my legs off the mat on that last one, but I tried and squeezed my booty and lifted my feet a tiny bit. That first move was really tough too. I wasn't able to get my butt up much on that one with one leg raised either. I'll have to keep working on these to get stronger!

You may feel it in your quads some , but the more you can focus on your glutes the better. Glutes are our biggest muscles but most under worked ones too so they need some extra attention. It's a lot of mind/muscle connection. When your quads get tired, being the focus back to the booty. Squeeze the muscles at the top of the movements and feeling them fan out as you lower. Xoxo

engaging your glutes will only help build your booty, not reduce it. Excess cardio can use muscles and reduce, but these will be great for lifting.

+x xxx you'll definitely feel the muscles in your lower back upper glutes working here. If you're feeling pain versus it just really working those muscles you may be lifting too much in certain moves
