Prohibition was responsible for the rice of many of the Classic Cocktails that we all know and love. One of the biggest reasons why is that after prohibition hit in the US most of the well renowned bartenders went over seas and immediately had access to a variety of different spirits and mixers that they didn't have access to in the states. Pretty sure a South Side (Chicago style) is made with lime juice though. New York style (Southside) is made with lemon. Cheers!

Hey Dave. Tommy here, thanks for reaching out. Those are two of my favorites because they rose out of the ashes like a Phoenix which in essence is what the Alchemix logo represents. I appreciate the question and my answer is going to foreshadow a bit. I can honestly say that I am displeased with almost everything available on the market for many different reasons but if your willing to wait a few months, stay tuned and I will answer that question publicly. Otherwise I would recommend getting something cheap for now in all honesty because literally every single brand that is perceived to have quality stuff is garbage and way overpriced. I can't say much more than that for now. Cheers
