Last December I spent three days prepping and binging your videos and landed a job at a law firm with no prior experience. I was told they were very impressed with my interview and I was offered the job at the second interview. I decided law wasn’t for me and have since left that position, but I have another interview tomorrow and am going into it feeling confident. Thank you for these invaluable resources.

Before going to the interview go over the job description and identify any requirements where your skills they don’t quite match up and once you’ve indentified your shortcomings for the role then you can start planning how you’re going your respond to questions that may challenge your areas of weakness

How to follow up with an employer when you don't get the job, but were seriously considered (ex. Second Interview), that should things not work out with the person hired, that you would still be interested in the role.
@DonGeorgevich2 жыл бұрын
i suggest asking the hiring manager if he/she minds if I follow-up in 4-6 weeks to see if anything has changed. and then just keep calling and emailing, not pestering, but in a constructive way that shows you want to work there

@@DonGeorgevich Thank you very much for the suggestion Don. Once I received an email from the hiring manager that although my experience was impressive (I made it to 2nd interview, which I am very proud of), they decided to go with someone with a stronger background. I replied thanking them for considering me for the role. He stated in his message that he thinks I would be a good fit for the company, and that they are always hiring and to check back periodically for future opportunities. I mentioned in my email that if anything changed, to feel free to contact me, since I would be interested. I also wished them well with the new member on their team. Thanks again Don. I very much enjoy learning from your videos!

I think it's not necessary to ask the employers about your application process. If they don't contact you within 1 week . Just jump on other vacancies

Hey Don! Do you have any videos or advice on negotiating your position to be remote/hybrid? Thanks for the awesome work you do!

Not yet, but I think that's a tough sell and in most cases, probably not negotiable.

Hi Don, thanks man, watched all the videos, read the question prepared 99%, at the interview (Video call panel of two, Controller & Assistant Plant Manager), after answering the first question "What do you know about the company and why did you apply to this position?" (Researched the company very well) he asked if I have any questions, so I started to ask thoughtful questions related to the position and processes, he did most of the talking answering my questions, what does that mean? it is a seiner position. Thank you again
