I am a 15 yo teenager and I was also forced by my parents to not to do pushups, cuz they have a misconception that it stunts one's height. We went to a doc and I asked him if pushups stunt growth and he denied, then also after a lot of effort, they partially agreed. And now it's nearly impossible for me to ask them for whey protein.

I am Type one diabetic and i asked my doctor for whey protein but they clearly said no and the reason they gave me is “it is too harsh for your kidney”

Sir, I think if we try to analysis the all your 5 points. As per my view, most of the people are see them as 'kharcha'. Protein supplement is costly thing. I am doing calisthenics and yoga for almost 3 years but still my parents don't give me money to buy whey protein. Most of the families are don't support their childs to do physical trainings. They dont care them . Many of them use their kids to fullfill their wishes. ☮️

You are absolutely right mate being an Indian it's hard to convience my parents while I use to live in India but I witnessed in New Zealand parents themselves are buying protein supplements for their young buds. Even if you make copious videos on protein benefits Indian society wont change their mind and will still downgrade the Importance it holds.

I tried ordered whey protien of a trusted brand and it was a bit expensive, so even though I am working out for more than an year now... I had to literally show the videos and articles that its safe and will not cause me cancer or something bull shit to my parents... I bought a small pack and its clearly written on the pack that its a mini pack for 14 days...

I always wonder why these warnings like not to be consumed by children and pregnant women exists on protein supplement which even do not contain any artificial colors and preservatives. Because proteins are the most essential macros which are required for a child to grow and pregnant woman to have a healthy baby. Bro science is everywhere in this country and I urge everyone to please share this channel as much as they can because not everyone gives us these knowledge without taking a penny from us.
