I bought a used 18' ford 150 from a dodge dealer and they let me use a Ram 1500 while they did the bed liner. Man those new Rams do ride nice, nicer then the ford I bought for sure almost made me return it and get the ram. Fords have been reliable for me though so I'm sticking with them. I have a p365 an love it also

i carry the P365XL with the Romeo Zero. Hands down the best carry pistol out there. I mounted a holster in my truck to carry my Sig M17 with the Delta Point Pro. It's not easy to draw from a seated position in the truck with your seat belt on, so I keep the M17 ready in a holster mounted to the console by my right leg. I just bought Fox 2.0 suspension with Grimm UCAs. I'm still waiting to get the coil overs in the mail. I'm going with a 33" tires. I have the 2020 F150 XLT Sport. It came with 20" wheels. I'm going to change the wheels to Fuel Battle Axe 18" wheels with a fatter tire.

I was level lifted at first , then I lifted the back and brought the rake back. It messed up the anti squat and anti dive when it was level. Very weirdly, it handled better not level. Also, you'll have less down force on the interstate if it's level. I've got so much windshield rake That it wouldn't have been an issue for me but downforce is a good thing on the interstate, especially if you are lifted. I DO want a progressive rate in the front , however so that I get less rear wheel lift on corner travel. I'm probably going to achieve that with spring rubbers in the front springs honestly. Options are limited for my Jeep.

I enjoyed your video and like the stance of your truck. Did you have any trouble putting on the 1.5in Zone Body lift? My 2017 Ram has many cables/hoses that don't look like they will move or flex enough for the 1.5in body spacing from the frame.

Hey. I bought my truck (2005 GMC Sierra 1500 USED) and it has bilstein 5100 shocks on it with the stock ride height and rake. I wanted to get a leveling kit for my truck and I was wondering if I would have to get new shocks or if I could still just use the Bilstein that I currently have. Of course with the added height from the leveling kit

Great video! I have a 1500 Silverado RST. My rake seems to be about 1 1/4”. If I put an 2” level on the front would you think I would need a 1” block in the back so I don’t have back being or looking lower than the front? Thanks

I know this is an old video but can you tell me what the difference between spacer an longer coil overs, I know one is a spacer and one is longer strut. But how does the spacer change the geometry if the coil over doesn’t. I would think they both would do the same. I’m just curious since I just picked up a 2012 Ram and want to level it.

Nice video brotha. After tons of research I came to the same conclusion, if you level the right way the damage to UCA's, cv's etc is minimal. Question, if the billsteins gave you the look you wanted on the new truck would you have stuck with them or do you prefer the icons over billsteins now that you've had both? I got a 20 F150 4x4 and yeah the ride is nice but God damn it can get bouncy lol.

Bilsteins are great, I had them before. They ride nice etc. I like the icons better but the price difference is huge

Unless you do a suspension lift any leveling lift does the exact same thing.

You can’t put coilovers on a 2wd. Check out maxtrac lifts they have a good 2wd kit with fox shocks

Had bilstein 5100s installed on my 17 ram 1500 front and rear set at 2.1 along with new aftermarket UCAs. Rode great for the first 1,000 miles or so then turned to shit. I drive on gravel everyday and now I can't go above 45 without my traction control kicking on. It also makes a clunking noise on my drivers side. Going back to stock.

Probably put the washer on wrong, check and see if the washer is under the strut nut.

Sorry to jump in your replies. Im installing the 5100 this weekend on a 2012 ram. Is the 2.8 setting safe with stock components? The cv axles...ball joints...etc. i eventually would like to upgrade that stuff but like anything else gotta do what I can when i can. I just dont want to undo whats been done if i go 2.1 instead and later want 2.8.

If you had a clunk you couldn't get rid of that make you unqualified and shouldn't be modifying your vehicle at all. Bigger struts do the exact same thing as a leveling kit.

Ah clearly you know nothing about vehicles. A coil over is not the same as a strut spacer. And anyone who says they are knows nothing about modifying vehicles. The clunk was from the design of the cheap spacer.
