I think you have to find what works for you. Inspired by Melissa, I started training with weights at home three times a week. Nothing complicated, I just have a few dumbbells. After a few weeks, I started noticing the changes. This encouraged me to stick with the routine. As for motivation, on days which I am short on time or feel lazy, I say to myself I will just do a shorter workout. Most of the time, I tricked my mind and I do my full workout. What I find more difficult is the nutrition aspect.

It was for me, too. But now I'm in mounjaro and the game changed. I'm very willing and strict, sticking to a healthy diet and measuring everything. Now, I can do it because mounjaro takes out my hunger and cravings, and I'm sewing very good result. Maybe you can find something that helps u also, a healthy suplement or natural remedy that can controle sugar peaks and hunger. For me was the key. Good luck.❤

I feel like you sometimes too! Nutrition I think kind of goes up and down based on how your schedule seems to work each day!

Mindset. My mind "was" stuck thinking that I couldn't get in shape after menopause. Now my mind is right and I'm reaping great results. I hesitated for months before joining...then once my child went to college I said its time for me. Melissa's program has been a life saver.

God I really needed to hear you this morning!! Really!!! You are a God send. I got divorced and then cared for my Grandmother till her death over four years. Big part out of love but another part to escape the marriage I was in. Over that time I started the menopause. 40 now, my family go into it younger than normal. I have gained one stone in the last two years. I need a REASON like you said!! I need to write it down. I took notes on what you said, thank you. I know I have lost a lot of muscle. I was building muscle before lockdown then I woke when to care for her and my routine changed and I never caught up. I have never been this heavy and I don’t recognise myself. But when the pain of remaining the same becomes greater than the pain of changing we become willing I guess. Discipline is the work. I do great Monday to Wednesday and then I get tired and slowly make bad choices and then think I will start again next Monday but it’s just a cycle of no change and slow gain. Annoying!! I have 1.5 hour commute and I can still work out. All the weight is in my garden shed and on days off I go to an actual gym which feels luxurious lol after the shed!! But grateful to have a shed. I live listening to you, you make me feel like I can and I will instead of looking back at why I didn’t. I feel I need to look forward at the solutions. Xx

Yes, this video is just what I need today! I keep doing the workouts from the 8 week challenge I did with you back in February 2024. I got some results yet not all I am still working on. Now I am in the middle of the Jewish Holidays and still eat healthy, but there are too many meals. Too much food for me. So I portion out my food the best I can and only make small treats such as my own dark healthy chocolate with stevia, cacao powder and coconut oil. I made Chocolate covered date balls with pumpkin and cinnamon yesterday. I am noticing that since I have 5 lbs - 10 lbs weights at home, now they are starting to feel lighter when I workout with your videos. Should I go out and purchase heavier weights? My goal is to become very lean and muscular like You! You look amazing!

Am approaching 50 in a couple weeks. I’ve noticed that hormonal belly fat. I can’t seem to get it off. I really need a nutritional plan the workout is doable but I don’t know what am doing as far as what to eat, besides staying away from processed foods , refined sugar. Carbs just bloat my belly so I know better by now. Any meal planning recipes that I can follow to get me started?

Melissa, for those of us over 50, what do you think is the most surprising or overlooked factor when it comes to fat loss? Have you found any particular strategies that tend to make the biggest difference for people at this stage in life?

One would be to prioritize consistency. Try to maintain a regular workout schedule, even if it varies between shifts. Consistency can help your body adjust.
