I just purchased a 2018 Challenger SXT a week ago. My thoughts after 7 days of driving... 1.) I agree. The blind spots and tiny mirrors take some getting used to. But I've found that just being a little more conscious and cautious, taking your time to actually look around and actually look at the side mirrors rather than just a quick glance and its not so bad. 2.) I HATE that damn "bottle holder" molded into the side door. I'm 6' 5" and surprisingly this car has a A LOT of leg room, but I find that the edge of that damn bottle holder cuts into my leg no matter how I sit. 3.) I agree about the satellite radio. I would add that Dodge needs to be a lot more clear about the options concerning the Uconnect touch screen. I spent hours on the Dodge website looking at, building and pricing Challengers and it wasn't until after I purchased mine that I even realized there was two different sizes of Uconnect screens with the 7" inch being the "base" model without satellite radio. I thought there were only two options, the tiny, el cheapo 5 inch touch screen and the Uconnect 8.4 inch with satellite radio. Other than that, I love my Challenger so far. Zero regrets buying one.

I'm 6'0" so while I didn't necessarily have any issues with that bottle holder I still thought it was a little odd LOL

I saw in the configurator they offer a tech package with the blind spot monitoring and lane change assist. Definitely worth checking on the order sheet. Sadly, most every one I’ve seen in my searches doesn’t have it.

Just have to get used to the blind spots.I have owned 5 old school Challenger's, plus 2 new style. Blind spots are not a issue with me. Just set up the mirrors correctly.

Should have gotten blind spot detection, 8.4 Navigation. The brake pedal is old school, all cars prior to 1990 had a pedal for the emergency brake.

Go test drive a Chevy Camaro and you will what blind spot is..... For the price of the challenger you get more bang for the buck. I have a 2016 SXT, 8.4 uconnect is the way to go,I do agree. I love my challenger

U can use the Sirius app on your phone connected through the Bluetooth radio. Not that big of a deal

@5:13 ish....the window doesnt auto up because of safety issues!...if a child or pet accidentally hit the up button they won't get crushed by the auto up window!...I'm actually in favor of this!...just a side note though ,you can purchase a kit that will make it auto up if you want! It's not that expensive. I did it on my work truck(2011 gmc sierra)...

FCA really doesn't have the spare cash to spend literally millions on R&D to develop lawsuit-proof auto-up windows with automatic stop if something is detected (a hand, a head, etc) while rolling up. And really, It's a minor feature most folks don't expect in a car that starts at $25k.

My 15 Challenger with 5 inch screen had satellite..biggest drawback is the visibility.

I like the emergency brake on floor, it's out the way, it's not like you're gonna use it anyway, What car don't have a blind spot? It's a sports car just swerve and look in mirrer it's big enough, The gauges are fine, I think they are pretty good But the only thing I don't like is the location of the bright light indicator, it gets blocked by speed hand around 55 to 60 mph

I have a 2018 Challenger. I have no problems with visibility, my SXT came with 8.4" 4c with Navigation, satellite radio etc, it was an added option. Zero issues with the speedometer layout and I am 6'5" I love my Challenger.

Also not have satellite radio is no big deal, all you have to do is connect your phone to your radio and listen to what you want and FM radio plays good sounds as well. Remember have xm radio cost money

After three weeks with my sxt the only time I have trouble with blind spots is if my wife is in the passenger seat. Can get tough trying to look and tell my wife to sit back so I can see out the window...especially at night.

Definitely, agree with the blind spots. Definitely, needs a blind spot alert system. But, I've gotten used 2 it. Also, agree with having 2 hold the window levers up. 1 push, of the window lever, the window goes down. Y not up, too? 1 thing I noticed is when I open the door using the door handle the window goes down about a 1/4 of an inch. But, goes up after closing the door. What's the purpose of this?

The blind spots are just unavoidable with this awesome retro design. And I'm not sure either but every coupe I've driven does the same thing with the window automatically lowering slightly when you open the door--from the Challenger to the Mustang to the BMW 430i.

The window goes down to clean the window sealing gasket. The original Challenger just laid up against the gasket and were prone to wind noise and leaks.

You bring up a lot of good points. There should be a handbrake on the console notva small brake pedal. There are blind spots when looking out from the driver's seat. There should be satellite radio offered in the base model. My biggest gripe with my Challenger GT are the cheap plastics used in the front grill and especially the rear taillights. Dodge is cutting corners this is obvious but sonis Chevy and Ford.
