Josh, I am laughing so hard I have tears coming out of my eyes! Look speaking for just this melanin deprived person. I use the free-balls when bowling. Always have. Got buddies that have that custom ball, but it ain't worth it to me. Your group must not be that advanced or they'd have personal bowling shoes instead of having to rent the ones that give you shit like cirrhosis of the toenails or ankle hair cancer. One of the best bowlers I have personally met I don't like to refer to people by color but he was a black man. He was friends with my wife and I just started to learn how to curve the ball. He happened to be in the lane next to us and every time he went up I admired the way he was bowling. He heard my wife trying to help me and he was nice enough to bowl with us and help me. I really enjoy your videos. A lot of the stuff you talk about is so true.

It's not so simple as more is better, there's a magic number for everything. For me its 3 beer for pool, half a bottle of jack for darts, and about a keg for bowling. Anything less and you're not quite in the groove. Anything more and you're too drunk and will probably end up fighting someone or something.

I think it has to do both with muscle memory and state dependant memory. Like for myself with pool i just need enough in me to relax an not overthink or over-correct my shots. With bowling thats just how I learned to play. On the few occaisions I've gone when I wasn't smashed it's like I barely knew how to pick up a ball even.
