Wow, this is so refreshing yet raw. You are spot on with the facts. I am trying to change my mindset where luxury is concerned, I had spent the past years of my life trying to get bags and bags, yes and bags, I love bags. Last year, I was required to pack up and relocate to another country. This meant me only bringing the important stuff. Going through my bag closet, I realized that many of them were hardly worn and that the bag closet had become a shrine. I would pay my respects by cleaning them, and adoring them as I cleaned, placed them back on the selves and said good bye until the next clean up day. I Decluttered, sold some and gave away some. Like you mentioned, it took me 6 months to make the decision, that being that I had no choice, as I was relocating. Now that I have made the shift, I need to stay grounded, and your videos are helping me do that. So from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.

I was actually noticing my switch to Mykonos vibe house music in the car improves my mood so much vs listening to hip hop all the time. Although Mac Miller is untouchable and I adore his music. Still love hip hop, but I think the materialistic nature definitely gets in your head! I’ve also stopped watching TikTok barely at all, because the content recommended was sooo materialistic and did nothing for my well being. Great video! ❤

Caitlin, every time, i watch your video, i am more and more amazed by your growth. And you still so young, and already so wise🙌🙏🙏🙏 Its nothing what you mention here, is crazy, its all the truth. Everything in our lives is programmed. And thats not cliche or some conspiracy theory, its actually scientifically proven, using certain frequencies on us. Absolutely true what you think is what you become. Words and symbols rule the world. We are brainwashed from since we are little, that words dont have a power, but flip word back words , and you get swords. We are hurting ourselves, by saying i am not beautiful, i am too fat/ or too skinny, i am not smart enough. With words we can bring life or death. Its probably the most powerful tool, that we have and dont know how to use it. i do love music. I love all genres of music, and lucky enough to get husband, who actually is Moor, but so worldly. He knows all cultures and loves all music. In his 20’s , he used to be DJ. It shaped his life, from there he was noticed, and invited to do security services, and from there, he was noticed and invited un officially to work with alphabet agencies, to be bodyguard, for celebrities, royal families. That world opened his eyes, he learned about shadow governments, and shadow banking. You think that super wealthy make money in WallStreet ? Think again , there are money trading platforms, by invitation only, that make them 100-200% with very low risk. And boy oh boy, you think WallStreet is corrupted, ha thar world, well lets just say, i never seen so many crooks in my life….. But those events shaped him, to be in WallStreet, and rediscovering more and more truth about the systems, different meaning of words, etc…. So we love music, and we listen all kind of music. Lately we play a lot of older music. He always teaches me about music, rap in the beginning was clean. Until of course, the government saw as an opportunity ,to use it as a weapon, thats how was created gangster rap. If you listen interviews from some older rappers, you will hear , that they didnt want to do this type of music, but record labels executors, well thats another subject, once they sign that deal, its over…. The artists have to do what they told. Hollyweird is really ugly theme…. But anyways my favorite r&b is definitely Ty dollar sign and Maria , Ella Mai, i like Her. I do like rappers too. This is a great video Caitlin. Really good solid advice. I’m going to show my teenage daughter to encourage her to build healthy habits. After starting the Couch to 5k running app I have been telling people that I am trying to become a runner. I’m definitely going to start rephrasing that to “I AM a runner” 😊

Loving your new content! I've also noticed myself shifting into cutting out rap music. Russ is one rap artist I still listen to as he doesn't rap about women or uses bad language. He even has some "self-development journey" type of lyrics, kind of in the pop rap genre. Anees has rap influences in his music as well that I've been enjoying 😊

I was in high school in the early-mid 90’s. Rap was huge then. Especially since I went to the same school as Snoop Dog. But I never could listen to rap because of the language and message.

Great advice. I will take it! I am constantly working towards shifting my identity. I think I focus a lot on food and I’m trying to change that. I listen to the beats of rap music and don’t pay much attention to the lyrics most of the time. I do think the way I use to dress when I was in my twenties was influenced by rap. I think this degree of influence changes with maturity.😊🌹

when it comes to hip hop artist-i loooove missy elliott-she isnt the nicest, but its not the super nasty stuff…if you like RnB and romantical context than go for aaliyah-still miss her dearly, she was a great artist! i know, both are from the good old days, like foxy brown (but that girl is angry) or rah digga but im totally unaware what happens nowdays in the music industry, the music i listen to is 95% from the past, mostly 60‘s and 70‘s psychedelic rock what a contrast to missy elliot huh? 😅
