Russian mosquitos were trained as ground attack micro-aircraft by Sukhoi. As the traditional proverb of Anyland goes: Anyone who has ever felt they were too small to have any effect in the world has never tried to sleep in a tent at night with a single mosquito. Thanks Lars, you are one stoic guy to film all this!

If you've got a tick and need to remove it, one option is to make a little v-shaped nick in a credit card and slide it down your skin to dislodge the little blighter. Better than pulling them that way you risk causing them to vomit into you or leave their mouth-parts still attached.

Tip for bread. If you like the consistency that yeast gives bread but don't have the time for all that fiddle use some yoghurt in the dough. Flour, baking powder, salt like Lars says, and then some yoghurt instead of water. Comes out like sourdough bread.

We would call it fried biscuit dough. Popular is adding garlic (minced cloves) and cheese gratings (about a cup) to mix, then let it proof (rise). Proofing is allowing the gas bubbles to create in dough that makes it more tender. That is why you are told when learning not to work (knead) dough too much. If you run out of baking powder use beer let it rise about 10-20 minutes.

As a hunter education instructor [i.e. hunter safety instructor] and a person who has been lost in the woods three times, I second his advice on sit down and do nothing as soon as you realize you are lost. They want me to tell my students not to panic. I'm sorry but it is natural to panic. The problem arises when people act during that panic stage. They make poor decisions that make matters worse. It takes about 15 to 30 minutes to get over the panic. Then you can think clearly. Most people then get themselves out of the situation because they can think through it.
