Hey guys, the most important thing is that you guys *want* to do the 60-day mediaeval living experience because, after all, it's 60 days and that's a *long time* to be doing something you're not mentally ready for. Take your time, we'll be here when it comes out! As to the petition, I am exactly the same as Dylan - I completely forgot there was a petition to sign! I went down to the comments to see what everyone said about the video and just completely forgot! Signed now!

Take your time with the 60-day medieval experience, it’s only fun for us to watch if you’re enjoying it! I personally really like your ‘essence of Bushcraft video’ & some of the short overnight treks. Your 6-day survival is one of my favourites too. I like seeing you start and work on shelters etc.

Life happens - it screws things up - but as Julius says, we learn as we pass through. At 61 I look back at the trials I survived and appreciate - at this distance from the events - the person they made in me. But truly, fate could have backed off just a bit along the way. Congrats, good health, and best wishes for an exciting and better 2023.

I have just watched the Romanian conservation video. Absolutely loved it. Very educational too. I went to make toast and tea at the very last bit and didn’t realise there was a partition so will go back to look for it and sign it. Such an important thing to do. We must do our bit to look after our Earth. Have loved the round house project. I would love to live in a round house. Not interested in deer hunting or any type of hunting but I know it’s part of it all. The two of you are very interesting to watch and love the camaraderie. Also love the dogs being there too. Old Grouth Forests are magical places and should have some small percent retained. Tree farms are excellent resources we share. Good Stewardship is the maintenance of both. When I was your ages, I lived in the Redwood and Spruce forests of Northern California. Life well lived. Looking around in old growth, I noticed every single tree was twisted and knarled by the elements and deprivation of nutrients and light, foliage was dark green. Looking around in second growth tree farms I noticed every single tree was evenly spaced for access to light and nutrients. Every tree straight and tall, with light green foliage. Its the same as culling over populated wildlife. Herds that go "nature's way" are culled by disease and starvation.

So I signed the petition, because it is easy and I was curious to see, what reach it might get. But the thing here with petitions and as you mentioned EU laws are in my perspective not changing the situation here. There is huge logging activity in both regulated and not regulated areas. It is not possible to control all forestry areas in the world. So there are reasons to this destructive logging activities. People are not aware of the damage they create and didnt get the chance to know about the sustainable logging alternatives that are possible. There needs to be communication and livelihood alternatives for the people. For the environmental awareness I hugely want to thank you guys for your valuable contributions. You inspired me due to nature connection, which is futher a challenge for our society to find the reconnection to the natural systems. Creating this bond I assume makes the step to environmental protection a lot more possible. Although it feels sobering the reforestation programs are the best option for this area. Future logging must be intervened by multiple efforts. Everyone, make yourself part of it!
