Great job whole build. It’s a PITA working on turbos in thes trucks due to limited space. At least you took hood off. It’s more a test of patience than anything. Again, great job.

What did you use for a oil drain tube?

I used a fitting r&d supplied in their turbo manifold kit that glued into the valley pan where the cdr used to go. Where my turbo sits, it goes straight from turbo down into the valley pan fitting

Did the stage 1 cam get rid of the knocking sound of the idi I really can tell from the video

Yes but sadly as of now, we really don't have the time or space to take on such a large project for someone else

I understand and thank you for responding I recently bought a 93 F-350 turbo diesel and I decided to rebuild the turbo, replace the glow plugs and injectors new fuel return lines new wiring to the glow plugs and now I am finding it impossible to find a replacement grommet for the valley pan its always something but where there is a will there is a way!!! Where are you venting your crankcase/blow by. Do you have a cdr valve or just a draft tube?

after the turbine rebuild , the turbine shaft must be balanced on a special stand, because the turbine develops more than 100,000+ rpm,vibration can kill her

The wheels were balanced previously to rebuilding, it seems like its holding fine 🙂

What kind of fuel mileage are you getting on the new setup have you tested it?

I was getting around 13-14mpg average with 4.10s and a zf5 I just switched it to 3.55s and I'm in the middle of my first estimation now

@@Grewsum2Sum yea i live a town over and i hang out with his son. Your videos make me miss my old beat up idi f250 i used to have. I pulled 10k lbs with it once. Non turbo, just exhaust, intake, and turned the ip up. Wasn't very fast at all, but it definitely got me there. Love these engines

@@Grewsum2Sum i got an f150 now with a mild 300 six. Not fast either, but does ok. Towed 6k for 300 ish miles and and averaged 13 mpg at 65-70 no problem.
