here are my three key takeaways: 1. shedulding 2h of something I love per week 2. doing a relationship audit and thinking about who I want to spend time with 3. going on a mini adventure every week love your content, it always inspires me

it's super interesting the way you describe talking to your higher self is like how I talk to God! I also love what you said about how every human has innate value, and we don't need to "earn" it (even though productivity culture can make us feel this way) because our lives are a gift from a loving Creator who delights in us.

Hi Izzy!! I'm a 17 year old malaysian turning 18 in 2025 and this video was so helpful!! The two things I'd take away is change 1, I recently bought a journal for 2025 and I always wonder why nothing improved much in the past even when I journal everyday, I know now that reflecting back and reviewing your goals are so important!! Ill make sure to review every week and monthly. I think it'll help me to really stay on track. The 2nd one is change 7. I saw someone watching yt vids/movies/ shows on treadmills or those stairs machine to make it more enjoyable and I think Ill try it out next year! As of now its 17:53, 29th Dec 2024. Can't wait for 2025, thank you.

I think I'm going to try the no complaining one.....I've fallen into that mindset where I rant about everything going wrong and you're right, it's counterproductive. Also going to try finding an exercise I enjoy, been failing at that for years

Wow. Thank you. It's just what the doctor have ordered. I am very glad I have watched your video. I understand now why you and your husband are so successful in life. Your positiveness is also really contagious and I am looking forward to your next videos. May God continue to bless you and your loved ones so that 2025 will be the year where you feel loved and happy every second of your new journey.

Three things that I would choose for this year are: - To share my experience instead of complaining. - To do some self care (exersize). - To ask my wertual mentors (books, podcasts, etc..) for advice.

I really liked this video and it brightened my mood! :) One thing I don't agree with you is the part about not complaining, I think that asking not to complain is invalidating the feelings that one might have towards a problem. For me it is really important to be able to share this with my support group, more often than not they can provide another point of view or even possible solutions to a problem I thought I had no control over. Without being a constant source of negativity, occasionally complaining is a healthy release of tension and allow me and others to help each other. That's my experience at least. Have a wonderful 2025!

Wow, what a treat to listen to your story. Congratulations on clearly articulating your experience with sponsors. I am lawyer. Some of my clients experienced frustrations with record labels. Those who were sucked in and could not be true to their craft were destroyed spiritually. There is hope for humanity that there are still young people like you. I will be keeping in touch. All the best for 2025.

As for me, I haven't set any goals in a very long time, all I really want is to be happy, and that's something you can't really control. Also, when it comes to exercise, I have not found a form of working out I don't hate in my 25+ and also whenever I try something I remember that the recommendation in my country is 2,5 hours of cardio/week and some strength training on top and then I'm like hell no and don't even try, because what's the point if it's not enough anyway.
@anaccalazansАй бұрын
Hi. I never reply to posts, but I felt really compelled to reply to yours. I'm 48 and if there's one thing I would have liked my 25 year old self to know is to make weight lifting a habit. You don't have to like it. I mean, nobody "likes" brushing their teeth, but we still do it. The amount of muscle loss after 45 is no joke, and science says it only gets worse after 50. 2024 was the year I finally turned weight lifting into a habit and, only 2 times a week, it made a world of difference. Preparing your body to age well should be seen as working towards staying happy. Also, I hope you know that you do have agency over your life and your happiness. I agree that there's a lot we can't control, but the way you view and deal with things is what makes the difference. There's a book that helped me understand this better: The How of Happiness by Sonja Lyubomirsky I hope sharing some of my experiences can motivate you somehow. Even if it doesn't, I wish you a world of happiness =) Take care!
