SO THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS. I'll definitely be taking some inspiration from it- not copying obviously, because the assignment is for a family of four. but THANKS AGAIN this just saved my ass so much from failing I LOVE YOU

I don't eat mock meats too often, usually around American Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I don't have a full English breakfast very often. More often I will have Heinz beans on toast. Cheap, lazy, and vegan. :-) Thank you for everything you do for us vegans and potential vegans. Keep up the great work and keep being your wonderful self!

I love all your meal videos... but what I love most is that you present it how it will actually look when we all attempt to copy what you have done yet it still looks delicious and amazing.So many meal prep videos people put so much effort into showing a perfect pretty meal and every time I do it It looks terrible and I feel like a failure. I never get that when I try your recipes. I love it!!! Keep them coming ^_^
@sarra89138 жыл бұрын
i like this, it helps me get ideas of what i can realistically eat without worrying too much about the recipes. you really dont need recipes. you can google them with or without her specific provided recipes, and probably alter them to your choosing if you have a clue about cooking anyway

Sarra thank you!! Glad you enjoyed :)

No, thank you for doing all the work and making it!! I think you could make a really amazing video on repurposing food as well! It fits in with the cheap lazy vegan idea, and it is so practical in general for all cooks. What I mean is present ideas like you touched on in this video about things you can meal prep and then eat in various ways over the week. This could be anything from simply keeping rice around to pickling things to have for months at a time. I think you have a great grasp of actual practicality and I know you have great ideas for this subject even without much prior planning (we all do it)!! :) Imagine a video series where a whole video could be about a specific ingredient, like beans for example. you could explain how they are cheap to buy dry, easy to soak ahead of time and then cook in whatever way, to then use 100 different ways throughout a week. There are many foods that fit this mold - even fancier ones with many ingredients, saving both time and money! Just my idea. I have to throw it out to you in case you ever lack some inspiration, so you keep making great content, but I'm sure whatever you do next will be great :)

@mackenzie30838 жыл бұрын
Hey Rose! I eat very similarly to you with large meal preps using cheap ingredients. However, the lack of variety is killing me! If I eat another bowl of rice and veggies or pasta, I may explode. It doesn't matter what spices or flavors I put in it, I'm just bored! Can you give some advice for what you do when you feel like you need more variety? Maybe others feel this way and it would make a good video. Some days it feels like I'm eating because I have to, not because I want to.

This video was a great start by the way, but it's so hard to balance money, variety, and time! I feel like I can't win it all.

Echoing Camille&Bambi, I often make a variety of taco or burrito every week! There are so many fillings to choose from. You could also make it a burrito bowl and bring it to work with the taco shells. Soup and pizza are other go-tos for me.

I was Vegan for a good year and a half, and then I got pregnant. I have anemia, and everyone was freaking out saying I needed to eat meat. Wanted to make sure I didn't hurt myself and the baby, I started getting into meat again. NOT PRETTY! I was vomiting, unsatisfied, and grossed out. I gave up, and told my doctor I just couldn't do it. She gave me iron supplements, but, my girlfriend now wants to go vegetarian! She has been vegetarian for 5 days now, and she feels great. I seriously recommend doing the Vegan challenge, JUST MAKE SURE YOU ARE PREPARED!

I have a problem finding vegan sugar substitutes since I live in Denmark. I read both on the Danish sugar company's site and on Wikipedia that the refined sugar we use in Denmark is whitened using chalk and not bone char - which is good! But I'm trying to find an alternative to refined sugar that is not Stevia. what about coconut sugar?

Earlier this year I did a 30-day vegan challenge and it was easier than I expected - I knew what to eat, I did a lot of research beforehand. What bothered me the most was that a lot of products that are supposed to be vegan in fact contain unnecessary eggs or dairy, like some brands of bread or dark chocolate 😠
@IndigoChina8 жыл бұрын
I don't know where you're from but where I am (in the UK) there's a lot of vegan friendly chocolate in the top supermarkets like tescos, asda, aldi, lidl, morrinsons, waitrose, sainsburys etc. The brands are available in other countries too. If you want, I can do a video with a list of all the good vegan chocolates that you didn't know were vegan :)
