7 Day Water Fast NO FOOD FOR A WEEK | Dr. Zyrowski's Transformation is where I share my experience with a 7 day water fast and how it improved my health.
A 7 day water fast with exercise is a topic that we need to get clear on. Many people feel tough by going and doing a water fast and then hitting the gym as if its a badge of honor. The truth is that when doing a 7 day water fast the goal is to rest during this time and allow for the body to heal. The goal should not be to show people how tough you are and go lift weights in the gym when you havent eaten in days.
The 7 day water fast transformation is truly amazing. Many people will do short term fasts for weight loss but usually people who are doing 7 day water fasts are doing it for a greater purpose. That is to reverse a condition, solve a health problem, or they are using it for disease prevention. For people who have dementia or cancer that runs in their family it is important to utilize tools like fasting that increases autophagy in order to skyrocket their health.
There are some people who are interested in 7 day water fast fat loss. This is a worthy goal too because fasting will certainly help you burn that fat off. When fasting you are literally in a fat burning state for days. Your body is using the fat in order to fuel the body. Therefore throughout the fast you will have quite a bit of weight loss.
How to water fast for a week starts with the proper strategy. It is so important to make sure that when doing a water fast you consult with your doctor. It is also important to make sure you get proper rest, movement, and that you get proper water intake. It is also important to spend your time resting and not do the water fast during a stressful time in your life.
The best way to break water fast is to utilize steamed cruciferous vegetables. Not only are they nutrient dense but they also contain good amounts of fiber that will be healthy for the gut microbiome. At this time I also like to use probiotic rich foods in order to get good amounts of probiotics in the gut. It is helpful and 100% necessary in order to improve gut health. Eating foods like sauerkraut, kimchi, homemade kombucha. This is all good in order to improve immune and gut health.

I'm looking to fast or just look into healthier diets. I have been mostly eating processed and fast foods along with high-sugar foods/candy. I gave up sugar drinks back in February and gave up candy last Monday. But I'm still eating fast foods and easy food like pizza stuff and I want to look for a healthier approach to where I feel better. I usually feel pretty lethargic and makes me feel really sluggish and not want to do anything. This is a huge issue for me because I work as a CNC Machinist in manufacturing industry and it's a very fast paced and moving environment. I've also noticed that my diet has affected my mood throughout the day. I'm trying to work towards something new but I'm not quite sure how I should approach it and what sorts of things I should do. If you can give me tips and suggestions on what you think I should do, that'd be great. To give you more details of my situation... I'm 6'2, 175lbs (underweight I know) and most of my exercise I would say comes from my work. I usually feel pretty drained after work and dont want to do anything so I go home and just veg. I slouch often. I want to make a change and I have been for the last week or so. I've been trying to eat healthier, still sugary stuff via fruits such as apples and grapes and pineapple. I drink probably a gallon or so of water a day... but other than that I feel like it's not good enough and I still feel pretty drained every day. Any help would be great. Thanks!

@@BobJason1 Ur on the right track, bro)) eat ur protein " from clean saurces like chicken/fish/beef/tuna/eggs/beans/peas " eat ur fat " nuts/seeds/avocados/Almonds/olive oil/eggs " also eat ur carbs " white or brown rice it doesn't matter/whole grain brad, potatoes/ pasta " and most importantly eat a lot of vegetables/fruits. Also drink as much water as u can. And plz ... all u have to do is to stay consistent and last and not least " TRUST THE POSSESS " it will take time before ur body adjust to the new healthy diet. Good Luck and much much love from Ukraine.

@@BobJason1 It's good that you are thinking about ways to help yourself before serious issues come up. Usually by then it is soo much harder to make an improvement in your condition. Bravo for trying to get rid of the sweets. They are your number one enemy. Think of sugar as poison. There is no such thing as healthy sugar. That will include soda/carbonated drinks, even the "diet" ones. You probably already know that pizza and fast food are not your friends either. But since they have been part of your life for a long time it's going to be hard to cut them out. So, try thinking in a different way: what can you ADD to your menu that will improve the nutritional content?? Start by eating a salad every day. Yes, even some fast food places sell salad these days. Okay, the dressings they serve may not be perfect. Bring your own maybe, but eat your salad! Also include more vegetables in your menus. Try for fresh whenever possible. Canned is NOT your best alternative. Use frozen if you have to. Maybe veggies seem bland and unexciting, but if you try using some spices, but beware of sugar, you will soon enjoy the greens and oranges and yellows in your life a lot more. (Oops, one common yellow "vegetable", corn, is actually not a vegetable at all.) It's fortunate that overweight is not a worry right now. Your job is helping you be active. If you can help your energy level by adding IN more nutritious food to your diet, then as time goes by, removing the harmful foods won't be such a burden. I guess some people think "cold turkey" is the best way to change a bad habit, but it usually is not very permanent because the person has not made any positive alternative habits yet. If you try adding IN before taking OUT, better long-lasting changes will result. Fasting is a useful tool for helping improve your health. Glad that you are considering it. In my opinion, fasting will work better once your overall diet is more nutritious. Since there will be periods of time in your day or week that you are not putting fuel into your "machine", it should of the highest quality when you do. If you drive a Ferrari, you are not going to put kerosene in the tank, are you? Fasting while still running on a fast food diet is not your best strategy. Power up your fuel, then fasting will work much better. Keep going. If you fall down, pick yourself up and try again. That's what we all did when we learned to walk. None of us is still laying on the ground are we? 😉 All the best to you, Bob. You can do it.

From my research, you should only do an extended fast (3+ days) 3-4 times per year. I love fasting but overdoing it isn’t advisable. I did a 7 day fast 2 months after the first and it did not feel near as good as the first. Im now on day 1 of a 7 day fast after 3 months of daily intermittent fasting.

Telling people to check with their doctor is counter intuitive.. Too many doctors that have their customers on prescriptions.. Will be too scared of lawsuits....(or scared of losing customers) To allow them to fast.. My endo told me she doesn't recommend ANYONE fast.. Of course I ignored her and fasted for 16 days..

A few minutes shy of 66 hrs. Had planned a simple 3 day (72hr) strict water fast, but early this morning passing the mid 50s-hr mark the welcomed energy rush and mind clarity hit hard. I have decided to push on to a full 7 day fast. Actually will be even more as I will be at 168 hrs (7 days) 10pm Sunday evening, but because it will be bed time I will simply crawl in and sleep until my usual 6-7am rise and break the fast then. Hoping as this video presentation referencing the 4 days after the first 3 are basically the same and repeat the 3rd day. This could be life changing for me at 58 yrs. I have always been in excellent shape, but broke my neck severely racing motocross summer 2017 and it's been hell ever since. It took this long to get to a point of health and mobility to try this. I was lucky that I didn't become paralyzed, but the nerve damage and insane burning pain is brutal. I want to be able to play my guitars again and reduce the inflammation if possible. Not about any weight loss at this point, but I will welcome some fat reduction with toning to chest and hips. **Big bit of advice is that I did a full week of juicing before this fast. Really set my body up for intense fat burn and massive ketosis. I smell like a can of acetone 😁

Interesting to return to my comment when that was my first fast at the beginning of summer. I have now completed 6 strict fasting journeys all being a week (7days) or more. Did a 202hr fast and that was intense. But to answer your question, the results have been incredible. My personal health benefits are miraculous to say the least. Plus the fat burn and body shred are a fantastic bonus. I got my partner to do 82hr fasting now once a month and she loves it. She mainly does it for weight lose and blood pressure. We are both in our 50s. A wonderful aid is an app called 'LIFE'. I am not a big app person, but this one is helpful and packed with a great group of people and health information to keep you engaged and on track. Such a shame the corrupt medical profession won't acknolwedge how incredible this is. You can literally cautiously get off meds with the proper approach (in my opinion), BUT I am NOT a doctor - so each their own. @@Krishanapanchaal1

I am 64 yrs of age ; being suffering from emotional sufferings from my ex husband since I was 17 . I was told that I was fat & sent me to see my GP in 1976 . When my GP checked my weight , I was 7 stone in weight and my GP told me that I was under weight . Even after having two children I weighed 7 stone and 5 lbs . I suffered with chronic IBS since 1976 to this date (April 2023). I was at a lost point with my chronic pains hence I did an incredible amount of research into Fasting/Autophagy etc etc and decided to embark on Fasting for three days . This is my 4th day of fasting and my GI tract feel so so comfortable ; no chronic pains and burning tongue etc . I also stooped my antacids during fasting . My gut, my whole body and mind is so light and happy . First two days , I did struggle and cheated by eating three to 4 , dates as well . I highly recommend for anyone to go ahead with fasting . Before doing it , please read and read about how it all works . Knowledge is extremely helpful knowing how intelligent it is . @@2DReanimation and here shitforbrains wannabe parasite, learn some more basics... "Here is the deal, if you wish to do prolonged water fasting (and there ARE ZERO hacks for this in case you were wondering) THE ONLY THING close to as CHALLENGING as that is THE PREPARATION for a proper prolonged water fast...and that is a COOKED FOOD FAST...you believe that this is easy, challenge yourself to do 1 week raw...see if you think cooked food has little addictive potential. I will almost guarantee you that it will be the most challenging week you have gone through for awhile. Welcome to the big time, finding out what were made of, knowing yourself. So that is 1 week fully raw fruits n veggies...it's super hard when 99.9% of society hates to eat like that (if appearances are anything) yet also the fact that most of us have super little experience for even a day or two without USELESS (to survival and in fact often it's more like a slow death) cooked foods...then once you see how nearly beyond hard this is, ask yourself WHY? Why would something that is unnecessary to your survival be that ingrained in your life."
@2DReanimation
@2DReanimation 4 жыл бұрын
@AI AI ... really, starting off with an insult, weak. Cooked foods have less anti-nutrients and are more easily absorbed. But of course it's good to have raw veggies for the microbiome and for phytonutrients. And I think a one week experiment is harmless in most cases and beneficial -- but very unsustainable. But you need more robust nutrition than raw fruits and vegetables for supreme health. At least that's true for most people. I'm talking long-term of course. Just look into the key and very beneficial missing nutrients of a vegan diet. Been there, done that. Beneficial for a while, then detrimental.

We all have life stressors, this isn't a reason to not fast... First, you should only fast if you feel compelled to do so. Sidenote: I did a 21 day fast all while cooking for my family daily, and working around food. Also, dealing with emotional stress at that time. I completed this successfully. I felt mentally clear, suddenly things that were everyday stressors didn't seem so bad... I wish everyone well on their healing journey! 🙏🏽

I would like to request a video subject I’m sure many people would find interesting, about some general guidelines for someone with type two diabetes, reducing carbs, starting to eat well, how would this person go about weening off the insulin and the medication? Like easing doses as you decrease carbs, of corse but is there like some sort of general guidelines or tips you can teach me, so I be educated and able to give solid tips for people like my dad and my uncle who have been told diabetes is a lifelong uncurable disease for years? I totally screwed that sentence up haha I’m sure you got the idea! Hope to hear back from you soon, thanks again! See you in the next one!

First get them to meet their endocrinologist and mention their sugar is going down so what is the way to taper the meds. The doctor should ask them to keep checking their sugar (on a daily/ weekly basis) and reporting it to them. The doctor would be able to advise lowered dosages of insulin and meds.

I’m on day 6. It’s been two years since I’ve done a long fast (used to do a few 5 and 6 days fasts and even a 10). Last summer I did every other day fasting. I’ve fasted for 24 hours a few times this summer, but it’s been a while since a long one... I wasn’t hungry on this fast so I just kept going and realized I could make it an extended one I’ve been meaning to do. But... I was hoping to make it to 10, but days 4-6, I just feel SO SICK. I’m nauseas, faint, had terrible heart burn one night, and no energy... so I think I have to quit. I’m pushing it one more day just to make it to 7 since I’m so close and there’s an autophagy that happens at the point I really want to hit for health reasons. But dude, this fast was bad after day 4! I feel SO done. *I’ve been taking electrolytes every day and a little sea salt. I’ve been taking MCT oil in tea to relieve some symptoms.
