No surprise there! If people only knew. You should hear about the value of magnesium chloride and magnesium in general. And, while magnesium is not an official drug it is as powerful as a drug! It is just an example of something soooo valuable that doctors don't use. If you see "magnesium oil" that will be "magnesium chloride." ALSO something I once said to my brother: "Never underestimate the ability of a doctor to ignore his patient."

I have to put in a word for those doctors now. A lot of these are unspecific and/or subjective, so they either mean something or, in all, probability, nothing. It may just be your anxiety that made you go to doctor, or it may be a subclinical problem, which needs to be taken care of. You can do a lot for yourself through regular sleep schedule, good diet and some training.

I wish I had heard this 7 years ago, when at age 53 I crashed, burned and have never entirely recovered. I had every single symptom you mentioned. I left my very high-stress career and for an entire year, I sat in an easy chair and filled one adult colouring book after another. I am much better than I was but my stamina remains woefully low and I tire easily. I retired early (and on a drastically reduced income) and haven’t worked since. While my symptoms SOUNDED like everything I was reading about adrenal fatigue, I never understood, until now, why my doctor didn’t give me a diagnosis. I cannot thank you enough for this... Because my doctor never told me anything (just gave me one prescription to stop work and another for sleeping pills) I really wondered if I was a bit crazy. You’ve given me answers I’ve waited years to hear. I’m now about to watch your video on what to eat if you’ve had adrenal fatigue!!! 🙏

I found a homeopathic nutritionist who recognizes it, he use to be a pharmacist and left western medicine behind. So I ordered a saliva test from Life Extension ($150). Something was wrong and I knew it. The results: morning, afternoon, and evening adrenal function was at the bottom of the chart. My night level was in The normal range which is why my sleep was unaffected. After taking the adrenal supplement my doctor suggested my libido came back with a vengeance as well as my ambition. What’s even crazier is I now am an assistant coach for HS basketball and one day I was walking passed the health room when I seen some posters on the wall about the causes of BP which I suffer from as well as low Vit D! I noticed the adrenal glands on the kidneys and was intrigued. I was reminded that the adrenals control/regulate the kidneys and thought to myself why haven’t this been looked at as the possible cause of hypertension I’m suffering from. High BP is a symptom not a cause. Then I stumbled onto your page!!! Thank you so much for this knowledge. You really are a Gem Doc!

Could you talk about depression and how adrenal fatigue shows itself in depressed people? Also how depression is a loop that needs to be broken otherwise it gets worse and worse? Cuz the signs of depression AND adrenal fatigue (which I have) make the person not functioning both mentally and physically which makes them deeper into the depressive void.

@@Priscilla8385. Remember caffeine is a stimulant and must be taken in moderation. Genetics and environment factor into this. The stress on the body that caffeine causes can interfere with cortisol. #1 cause of adrenal fatigue is also excessive noise and continual abnormal disruptive stress factors that increase the release of cortisol in the body (belly fat & midsection weight gain) and which incite a fight or flight response. Such as a toxic/hostile stress inducing environment with repetitive sounds alarming the system such as continual doors slamming in places with warrant of habitability issues, loud cars honking, random unnecessary shouting, gunshots, excessive fighting and/or screaming sounds, random decibal breaking construction sounds, loud car wrecks and crashes, loud or altered car mufflers and motorcycle sounds, trains, subways, low flying planes, EMS vehicles and ambulette sirens, fire truck horns... ooh but is this a New York City ghetto your describing no wonder half of them are nut jobs and the other half are blessed n smart enough to move away. Anyhow a lack of downtime from such ruckus and electromagnetic devices such as TV's, cellular phones, continual white noise, radios, tablets ect. also causes adrenal fatigue. So power down n rest up!!! And take note continued adrenal fatigue on top of prolonged physical atmospheric exposure to mal conditions, beyond just the toxic psych ward and nut job neighbors, are things such as constant high dry heat from steam boilers, lead, black mold, asbestos ect. that all increase the risk for the development of autoimmune disorders as well.

I'm 39, I have always been fit. When I was younger I was able to get my adrenaline pumping much easier doing extreme sports. Now I feel like my body almost refuses to do anything strenuous enough to get my adrenals pumping. I thought it was just age. But a big variable here was that I didn't start drinking coffee until I was older. I didn't realize too until recently coffee causes a slow drip of adrenaline release. Coffee gives me excellent concentration and focus but I worry it does negatively effect your adrenal system.

Dr Berg, if you have Adrenal Insufficiency, as you know it's a whole different ballgame. I have Secondary Addison's Disease. And it is Rough! People do not understand what we go through. Can you please do a video on this Disease? It took me 6 years to finally Crash. I had an Adrenal Crisis. I almost died. It was bad My disease started in my Pituitary Gland or possibly it started I'm the Hypothalamus! Is there a way to find out? At any rate, I survived several years, but barely. I actually DX'd myself. I had a list of diseases I wanted to be checked for. Turns out it was Adrenal Insufficiency. I could not use the Hydrocortisol. I could not get out of bed. If you knew me, you would not have believed it would knock me down so hard, but it did. I finally got switched to Prednisone. It's much better for me. I can function better most days too on with Prednisone. I carry SoluCortef for Emergency Injection. I have Prayed for it to go away. Prayed for healing. there are so many in's, outs, ups and downs to this disease. we mainly DX ourselves and keep ourselves going. Most Drs do not know how to treat us. That has been the worst part. Any information on this Disease will be Appreciated 👍

This is what can be happening to me. I asked 2 doctors about it. One of them said I have chronic stress. And still did not recomend anything. Actually I am in treatment with an ortomolecular doctor. At least, probiotics are helping to loose a little bit weight and sleeping better. I will follow these changes for a few months to confirm they are working. My eyes are dry and using acqua tears. And, lately, a tic in one is going on for a month or so. The doctor gave me vit b complex. Please, maybe you can give me some advice. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

Plus I drink tea with many things like shelajit , potassium, magnesium, astragalus, ginseng and betane HCl , I've been in recovery from what I think is adrenal function fatigue and or nutrient deficiencies . One of my big issues has been drinking while eating , a big no no

Hey Doc....I seen this topic and thought I'd share my adrenal problem. I have a condition to where my adrenal glands are pumping way too much adrenaline. This makes my body release too much potassium,more than it should. I've fought this for years taking potassium supplements and crashing a couple of times. Once my potassium got down to 1.3! Lost felling in my legs and arms. Try waking up in the morning and you can't walk.. lol! Im scheduled to get a vein biopsy and possibly taking one out to fix the problem. By the way, t love the channel! 😁

I’ve been diagnosed with hyperadrenergic POTs. There are many parallels between POTs and what you are calling adrenal fatigue. How would one differentiate one from the other? What do you suggest to help with these symptoms aside from diet, sleep, and reducing stress? I’ve been dealing with this for almost a decade. Your help could really help my quality of living!
@TeddyCrochet2 жыл бұрын
I also have POTS and was honestly thinking the same thing. I do know several others in the community who do have both POTS and adrenal problems.

Jake I’m in exact same boat at the moment but I’m on year 1 not 10 like you. My cardiologist said I’ve got a “severe case” to try and justify letting me leave hospital with BP still spiking even on meds. I was looking into this adrenal fatigue because I can relate to every symptom and pass every test too I don’t really know where to go with it. How high can your BP go? And is it high at rest ? I’ve seen mine at 188/115 at rest and if I get even slightly stressed I’m at 160/100+ I just can’t de with any emotion without getting flooded with chemicals

I also have Hyperadrenergic Pots, severely high blood pressure and heart rate. Found out last year I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. Since getting treatment for that, my bp/hr have come down to almost normal, and I'm in remission from Addison's Disease. Off steroids after 12 years, but I'm very fatigued.

Hey doc, I just subscribed. I listened to your video about hydration. It made sense to me (over drinking water will cause the imbalance in my body by minimalising the minerals). I like how you present the info. Just dont end up like Dr.Oz (recommending things because it pays your bills).

I implore you to look into the research linking CFS / Adrenal Fatigue with patients that had Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (Rickettsiosis). We have a tremendous incidence of RMSF and co-infections here in a Oklahoma. But now 3 years later, I’m in a severe adrenal crash. Started about 7-8 months ago, out of nowhere! I’m a now homebound and largely bed bound. Even dressing and combing my hair to go to the grocery, is too much. When I do, out of necessity, I crash for at least a day. In bed. Anyway, there’s legit research connecting Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (Rickettsiosis) and ME/CSF…

I started feeling dizzy May 2020 I have been going to the doctor since with fatigue insomnia and dizziness every few weeks they take blood test they keep saying nothing is wrong with me.I then developed palpitations and muscles pains plus anxiety that kept me going to A&E they kept taking blood as well and they kept saying they can’t find any thing too, they gave me sleeping-tablets that worked only one night l noticed my skin is very dry I requested to see dermatologist he then asked for cortisol test guess what it’s low the fast thing I said I don’t what to get to crisis he said it’s not that low but I’m still worried I didn’t sleep last night because of hot feet and aching muscles my arm and leg I had palpitation last night I’m feeling so unwell 😭just started keto and long walks and I took off work to avoid stress.Thanks a lot for your videos.
