Trimming the ends of your hair does nothing for hair growth 😂😂 people have always said that but it's just a myth. Your hair grows from inside your head...the bottom of the strand has nothing to do with it. It's just a way to keep split ends out

If your growing your hair out from short to longer, if you get half 1/2 inch cut every other month you'll only grow three inches the whole year. Average is 6 inches for a year. Tip just a suggestion every 4 to 6 months have your hair slightly trimmed, make sure the stylist just nips off the ends, not even a half of inch. Your advice on hair growth was great though!
@Draak_Lincoln

hi, i want to keep the sides short but on top i want long hair, so kinda like this guy has. But everytime i go to the barber and say i wanna let it grow on top, they just trim it a bit but it feels like it takes forever to grow now. Should i tell them to completely don’t touch the top of my hair next time? I go to the barber every 3 weeks to keep my sides short and fresh
@breakintoronto5413
@breakintoronto5413 Жыл бұрын
@@Draak_Lincoln if the top of your hair isn't damaged then go for it, only cut the side and leave the top... If the top isn't split or heat damage, it's unecessary to cut. Also follow his advice, take good care of your hair and it will eventually grow😊

1:55 Half an inch is how much it grows every month, so if you cut off that much every 2 months, it will take 2x longer to gain length. Just cut it off of it’s split or damaged, not a special amount per a specific period of time, and especially not that much that often.

Coming from a former cosmetology student, half an inch every 2 months is way too much. If you’re going to be doing half an inch, or an inch, wait at least 6 months between every trim. If you keep your hair maintained in a healthy way, it should be fine. I used to get half an inch every 3 months, and my hair never grew longer, because I’d just be cutting off that half an inch. It maintained shoulder blade length. Only go in for a trim if you need it. If your ends are healthy, you don’t need a trim. If you have long hair, braiding it loosely daily should do you good because it’s not getting tangled. But half an inch every 2 months is too much. If you want to grow your hair long wait as long as possible for your trim, so as long as your ends are healthy.

Wearing hats should not cause baldness. However if the hat is on too tightly then it can harm to some hair follicles. Wearing a hat, especially when exposed to the sun for an extended period of time, can help protect your hair from UV rays that can damage your hair.

@Floaroma 44 do you think your paleolithic ancestors or native americans etc. cut their hair every few months in order to avoid hair splitting? They had beautiful hair anyway.

Sulfate-free shampoo has made all the difference for me, with the exception of once a week when I use Nizoral shampoo. I don't use the Nizoral for dandruff though (I haven't had dandruff since I started using SLS free shampoo most of the time) - there is some evidence the the ingredient in Nizoral helps regrow grow hair (in rats), thus preventing or reversing male pattern baldness. The ingredient in Nizoral is called Ketoconazole. The evidence isn't cleared by the FDA yet so it cannot be advertised as a way to help with hair growth. Who knows about the future though. Regardless, it works for me.

I followed what you and other KZbinrs I've watched to Grow my Hair Faster. My Nails and Hair grow Fast already, but now my Hair grows maybe almost 2 Inches per month. HairCut has become Expensive for me. I literally go to the Barber every other Saturday and they're all surprised how fast my Hair is growing back and that makes me their favourite customer because of the frequency of my visit. You know, because it's income for them. I mean, it's a small thing, but now they give me free massages, Shampoo, Conditioner then Rinsing. One Bad thing though is I have naturally Frizzy, Curly, and Thick Hair. Oh, and they let my Dog sit on the other chair.

The only muscles that come close are the frontalis muscle on the forehead, the temporalis on the side and the occipitalis in the back. I think you're confusing the epicranial aponeurosis for a muscle. It's a layer of dense fibrous tissue which serves as an attachment for the frontalis muscle. I don't see how massaging this layer would help but I haven't tried it, but It's most likely just a placebo effect. Other tips sound good tho.

Every hair follicle has smooth muscle. We're not referring to skeletal muscle, light temporal, biceps, triceps, abdominal etc. We're considering smooth muscle that's located at the root of the follicle. If you don't believe me, go on Google pics, write "hair follicle anatomy" and learn something new.
