My life is lathered up in coconut oil... Except my face - Jojoba works the best for my sensitive acne prone skin 💯 Have been having the best skin since incorporating oils (I have similar skin type to Erin) I also take make up off with grapefruit oil every night and wipe off with a cloth, then use skin mild cleanser. I also bought 8 face cloths so I have enough for a week and +1 for when I wash the dirty ones. It is the best ❤️

I use pomegranate oil and/or olive oil on my face, then wipe my face with damp cotton (better with filtered water) and sometimes damp cotton with salty water, to better clean the pores. If I feel too dry I apply a bit of oil again.

I enjoy your videos. Thank you! I am glad you have mentioned that everyone’s body needs are different. It’s so true what works for one person may not work for another person. Example: I was drinking lots of water and I started having dizzy spells. I went to the doctor they did blood work and low and behold my sodium level was very low.. For me drinking 32 ounces of water a day or more was just TOo much it literally flushed my sodium from my body. I feel so much better now that I cut my water intake down....I say Pay attention to how your body feels and responses to different foods, lots of water etc... also some people may have health issues that also affect how your body reacts to certain foods, water etc.. remember to do what is best for you and what works for your body. Another example I don’t eat animal products and I feel fine 😍but a friend of mine who wants so badly to give up animal products cannot because every time she tries she feels horrible.🤢 Just like my food I like to switch it up for my facial and body care depending on my mood or need at the moment. So I use different oils like a organic high quality oils like rose oil, carrot oil, Shea butter, coconut, algae oil for a few. Also use different kinds of salts in bath water and a mix other skin care products.
@EatMoveRest
@EatMoveRest 5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for sharing! The one thing we would say for your friend, she may be detoxing when she eliminates animal products and it could be a phase that she needs to ride out for a bit to experience the benefits!

You folks need to try Rosehip seed oil...I have used both Argan & Jojoba oils & have found Rosehip seed oil far superior . The high end brand i like is from *Trilogy and the inexpensive brand i like is from *Aura Cacia. I only use at night on clean skin and keep oil in fridge....Cacay oil is Great also, but a bit too expensive for me.

I have a question, I use oil to moisturize my skin as well but it causes issues with my mascara transferring below my eyes for a raccoon look. Even when I avoid my eye area and sometimes waiting a bit, it still happens. I use Elate mascara so maybe it's the brand (although it happened with other brands as well). Any tips? Thanks!

I have that same problem with my mascara and it’s only this particular brand, so I think it depends on the brand!
