Okay so I decided to follow all her tips the last 3 weeks and I have never felt better and have lost 11 lbs. I have tried every diet but could not stick with it for more than a day because I love soda and brownies. So what I have done is eat 2 meals, start with 1 tbsp of acv in 8 oz of water, then eat a cup of broccoli, then chicken or beef, rice or potatoes, and then I let myself have a soda and a treat (brownie or chocolate). I then walk around the house for at least 10 minutes. I feel so much better, I can finally sleep, and my insatiable sugar cravings are much more manageable. I have been easily able to stick with it because it is telling me how to eat my sugar instead of trying to cut it out completely. This has changed my life and now I am down to just 1 soda a day at my 1st meal when I used to drink almost a liter a day.
@ShannonCombs-mz9fc9 ай бұрын
This is good to know because I want to start this. So you eat 2 meals a day? What do you do for breakfast? Do you have coffee at all?
@vchafab9 ай бұрын
I do have a cup of coffee in the morning with Monk fruit sweetener and heavy cream. Since that doesn’t really increase my insulin, I don’t do the acv and vegetables with that. That is really my only breakfast. If you were to eat breakfast and a more sugary coffee, I would just follow her tips, acv before and maybe a veggie first then the rest of breakfast. Or you could do acv and then an omelette with veggies (mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, etc.) and sausage or ham. And then just move for 10 minutes. She also suggests doing calf raises instead of a little walk is fine too. I personally just eat 2 bigger meals at around 11am and then at 5:30pm because that the only way I have ever eaten so I don’t crave breakfast except for coffee. You totally got this! This has immensely helped with my lifelong sugar cravings and I don’t feel deprived at all knowing that I still get it at the end of my meals. Good luck ❤

I can't believe that what she is saying is true. All my life I've been having fruit as a snack between meals. I couldn't figure out why I was shaky and hungry. I was getting glucose spikes and felt like I was starving. Now, I just had a savory breakfast, and immediately after that a handful of strawberries. I don't feel a super sugar or energy rush. When I ate fruit on its own I could feel my entire face get super warm and checks were red. I feel much better now, and not as tired anymore. I have more energy because I don't eat any sugar at all, except for during birthday parties. I'll report back on weight loss results too.

Together we reversed the sugar levels from over 20 down to between 4.5 and 7.5, and since then he has the odd spike over 10. I somehow found your KZbin videos on glucose spikes and we have both included your hacks in our dietary lifestyles. I have been carrying out controlled experiments on myself. I find after instigating your hacks over a period of four weeks, I have better mental health, I am losing fat, slimming down, not necessarily losing weight as muscle weighs more than fat. Hi, this is the way I burned all my fat, including from my glutes and love handles. I have very little fat on my body and I lost over 90 pounds. I started a Ketogenic lifestyle and OMAD concomitantly on 6/2022 to lose weight. But I know what caused me to lose all my fat was my OMAD intermittent fasting. I eat Ketogenic once a day, at 3pm, and fast until the next day 3pm. I only drink water and black coffee, no sugar. Here is why I lost the fat: about 20 hours into my fasting, I started my long walks. I gradually increased my long walks during fasting to 10 miles, and eventually to 15 miles, 5 days a week. 15 miles takes me a little over 4 hours and 50 minutes. You must walk while fasting to lose your fat because your body uses your own body's fat for energy and that's how you lose fat. You would think that walking 10 to 15 miles while fasting 20 hours will cause weakness or tiredness during the long walk..on the contrary I felt more energetic because my body was burning ketones for energy from my body fat. All I had was water with electrolytes. That's all..after two years of long walks during fasting 20 hours, I have very little fat on my body. I felt great during my walks and very energetic. So, if you decide to go on Ketogenic lifestyle and OMAD, consult your physician or certified Nutritionist to guide you and make sure you are getting proper nutrition and keep your muscle and lose your fat. OMAD and long walks while fasting is a great way to lose fat. I also reversed my insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome and all its associated degenerative diseases completely

There is nothing wrong with insulin spikes. That's why insulin exists in the first place, to shove the nutrients into the muscle, it is a very anabolic hormone. The pathway to get insulin resistance has nothing to do with the occasional sudden insulin spike. Even if it were, the cure for insulin resistance is well known. @ivithome8 ай бұрын
She dumbs down a lot in her own channel. But some things are. Have a savory breakfast and if you are going to have something sweet with it, choose to have a whole fruit. Another thing she says is when having sweets never have it on a empty stomach, it's better to have a sweet as a dessert as a snack, since the food you already have on your system will slowdown the sugar absorption and the insulin spike. Another good tip it's to change the order of the things you eat, or simply add a salad and/or vegetables as a starter, then you can eat your protein and starch
@fancydance45928 ай бұрын
1. Savory breakfast (nothing sweet. Whole fruit as part of it if you wish) 2. Vinegar drink to start 3. Veggie starter before your meal 4. Eat anything sweet at end of the meal (including bread)

Vinegar 1 tablespoon before meal to help to decrease insulin spike, then for meal eat fiber veggies, then protein then carbs and sugar, the fiber provides a barrier to slow the glycemic intake which causes insulin spikes. Insulin spikes cause belly fat basically. The least insulin spikes or should I say minimal spikes is much better health. So this doesn’t eliminate foods it just the order in which to eat them to decrease the insulin spikes. It’s like have your cake and eat it too!

About the mitochondria part: if sugar doesn't give you energy (only dopamine) how do you explain kids going berserk after having too many sweets? Thanks
@caryg46387 ай бұрын
Sugar does give you energy, but the cells can only take so much of it before it rejects them (insulin resistance), and then you get all the negative effects from it. Children, for the most part, don’t have this problem, and hence why they get an energy boost when they eat sugar. Too much sugar ends up damaging the cells, but a little is beneficial if you don’t have any metabolic issues (most people do though).

Just eat your veggies, and right after that, the rest. Noe pause. Eat like just another meal, only the most important first - vegetables/fibers ❤

Plantbased lifestyle is better to reverse aging. All the reverse aging scientist do it. I was already Vegan but I am trying to be plantbased because of the health benefits.

Can I use balsamic vinegar as a hack?
@cocoruse10 ай бұрын
I’ve seen in another of her videos that you can use any kind of vinegar including balsamic.
@carmelasantana30919 ай бұрын
In one of her videos, she says that any vinegar will do, EXCEPT for balsamic, because it contains too much sugar. Edit to add: her video is "10 Life-Changing Glucose Hacks:", and she spoke about the syrupy balsamic, so you would need to read the label.
@carmelasantana30919 ай бұрын
@@cocoruseThe video I watched, she signaled out the syrupy balsamic as a no-go, because it contains sugar. I guess we'll need to read the labels, to make sure we're not shooting ourselves in the foot.

Unfortunately not. I had the same question about it. And I found the answer today. I love aceto balsamic but there is too much sugar inside it. We will get used to the normal vinegar, hopefully

@drchattergeeclips you should talk less and let your interviewees talk more. Thats what they are there for. If you want to be the expert, you could make additional videos without the interviewees; it could be thought of as an experiment to see which get the best SEO.

Jessie, so why do people exercise daily and stay in deficit but don't lose weight? What are the mechanics behind it in the body? You surely would know, dear.

They must not be in a deficit,if they are not losing weight.

@@jaybradley3765perhaps not They could not be eating enough calories, so the body goes into starvation mode and holds on to excess body fat Maybe they’re eating foods they can’t process well. At one point, I was working out 5-6 times a week and didn’t lose weight Now that I addressed what I eat, I’ve lost weight They say weight loss is 80% diet, 20% exercise Think of exercise as maintenance

Acute blood sugar spikes aren’t related to any problems. There is no clinical data to back up that statement which either means this guy is a doctor who doesn’t understand how science works, or he’s lying. Both are concerning.
