New subscriber here. My wife of 12 years and I are going through a really rough spot right now. It's going on two and a half years now since this began. I keep telling myself that I can do but I keep hitting walls and clashing against her resistance. She tells me she's done and she wants out but we are still together today so that tells me that pe hape she's not as done as sh says she is. I need and want to save our marriage. I paid be this woman more than I've loved any other.

Welcome. The best thhing you can do is take the course for men. Its not about the money for you but it's not expensive, anyway and it works better than anything else themarriagefoundation.org/reviews/

Paul, Can you make a video for the husbands that are experiencing this behavior and how they can respond in a loving way? Or have you already made one?
@ste6826 Жыл бұрын
It already exists. Just search the title the other way around.

What if he has a drinking problem? So I should always think and act like every crazy behavior and all the gaslighting that goes along with it, is just great and no problem? Never confront it or hope that things can change?

Set boundaries for yourself. Read the book Codependent No More. You can't change him, you can only control you and your reaction and what you will tolerate.

These are great tips. I appreciate you sharing. My question is, what if your husband does these things? Its very hurtful & Im sad to say this but it makes me not trust him, feel taken for granted & its ruining our marriage.

One should not entertain sadness, ever. Nor shold one focus on their husband's, or wife's flaws...just love them with all your heart.

She's hurting maybe because she's not getting what she needs from you emotionally. I told my ex I needed non sexual affection, like hand holding, being held and hugged, for him to make an effort so I felt loved outside of the bedroom. He didn't seem to want to make the effort, in my opinion, he wasn't going to do it. He had closed his heart off.
