“The seasons of your life that are setbacks are often setups for what you’re called to do “ This spoke to me 22:58

I hope so! 😅 Or at least I try to think of such setbacks in a positive way, like "Well, if this bad thing hadn't happened, then I wouldn't have chosen to do X, which took me in that direction, where I met X, and learnt that I enjoyed X activity, which I'm now considering using to change career..." Etc.! So yeah, am just hoping that there's a reason for the setbacks and they were just there to reveal information I might not have got and to nudge me towards the direction I should be going in! 😊

Mel, this is so embarrassing, but you were literally in a dream I had last night - it’s not gross - you were offering counsel on going back to college to complete my degree. I only listen to your podcast and books 2-3 times per month or week, but thank you. I don’t know if I’ll go back to school specifically, but it was a dream about completion (I’m ADHD and hel-lo) and my esteem being affected by it as well affecting my ability to meet challenges involved. Thank you for the food for thought through your work publications and through that funny dream (we laughed because of how different college is now than it was then and I got to experience it because I signed up and attended!) You were my therapist in the dream and asking some insightful questions. As you do through your publications. Thank you for the support and encouragement. In real life and imaginary. 😂 🎉 Cheers to your continued success through channels like these. And to mine! For listening. 👂 🤣 🤪 😂

According to my mom she kept having a dream about being a high school student failing an exam till she finished her licenciate degree and that was when I was already in high school. So I hope it's not the same for you and that dream doesn't hunt you for life 😅.

There are a lot of people who don't have the money or a partner to be able to quit their job and pour their savings into anything. There are a lot of people who are at a deficit or even owing and don't even have a savings even for emergencies... how would you recommend someone who has nothing go about following their dream if they don't even have a partner to lean on or savings to pool into it? She kept saying they didn't have any money but then kept saying they put all their savings into it. Which means they had something. I think it's amazing what she did but it's a little contradictory especially to be able to work on something for years without giving yourself any money. How did you feed yourself how did you have a roof over your head?. A lot of people they don't have a partner that can carry them financially while they follow their dreams or even have a partner at all.

I don’t admire people who drop the “f” bomb. Find some other words to express yourself. We’ve all heard the word before and you don’t impress me when you are constantly vulgar.
