I have just bought the nurosym device. I'm not sure if anyone else is experiencing what I notice. I feel the tingling sensation for a few minutes, then it stops. Is that normal, or is there is a problem with the device? I go back into the settings, change the strength and I feel the tingling again...however after a few minutes its stops :)

I have a TENS unit with tragus clip for vagus stimulation. Exact same recommended pulse width and frequency range as you share. The first time I used it: instant and very strong effect. Very reaxing and pleasurable, it reminded me of THC. Then I tried it again the next day: noticed absolutely nothing. I have tried changing the pulse width, frequency, intensity. I sometimes tried it again after weeks or months. Nothing. I can't explain it, but that's my experience.

Forget the ear clips. Just use regular gel pads under the ear with regular tens unit settings as mentioned in this vid start slow 1 min initially. It works well.

Thank you so much for this. I didn't get on with the nurosym.. found the whole experience quite stressful. I couldn't feel any tingling.. so *very* gradually increased the level and then at the level I could feel the tingling (level 15), I got chest pain and quite scary heart rhythm. It really shook me up. I guess I over stimulated. It also really hurt my ear and the left side of my face went numb. I was using it on the left side. It's reassuring to hear I'm not the only one this didn't work for. Qigong and near infrared light are working really well for my long covid.

I'm not sure if it even matters but just want to make sure before I buy an alternative since they are funding research of their device's effects which reduce auto-antibodies which is primarily why I am interested. Also, does the InTENSity Micro Combo TENS device you recommend come with the ear clips or do those need to be bought separately?

@@HRVHackers Do you know if Pulsetto have longer session than 5 min?
@HRVHackers
@HRVHackers Жыл бұрын
If you push the plus sign during each mode you can add a few extra minutes. The reason for the shorter sessions is that it's a very powerful tool stimulating the Vegas fibers in your neck. The alternative devices out there stimulate the Vegas via the ear or the skin on your hand or feet which is not as powerful that is why they need longer session

It actually does work for a lot of people but just like medication, it won't work for everyone. That doesn't mean it's bull. TVNS therapy has been used by hospitals and mental health clinics for some time. This device however is a very overpriced TENS machine. The same results can be achieved for a fraction of the price.

Yeah, it helped me a lot with my anxiety. Not everything works for everyone though - that's what we need to remember. I do think it's overpriced however.
