Why is the Quinault Hatchery system so productive and successful? It’s because the state government or federal government doesn’t have their hands in it
@siklegend10 ай бұрын
Amen, one could even go so far to say there needs to be a revolution.
@alecjohnson591610 ай бұрын
The Quinault system is a perfect example of what many of our fisheries could be. But technically, one of their 3 hatcheries is co-managed with the US Fish & Wildlife Service. WDFW needs to wake up
@360Angling-Outdoors10 ай бұрын
yep everything the government has touched from healthcare to education to transportation has failed. imagine running a business with no repercussions or accountability that’s the government
@Spencer_Plant_Projects10 ай бұрын
You might be surprised to find out that the Quinalt Hatchery is operated by the...tribal government of the Quinalt Nation. So tired of this braindead take.
@curtmusser499210 ай бұрын
Actually, all their money does come from the federal government. It’s a federally mandated law that the tribes get a certain amount of money to sustain their fish runs. The reason the runs are so good is because they pretty much get to do what they want to do and they have a ton of money from the government. Therefore they have awesome fish runs.

You guys get a thumbs up from me for taking a child with you fishing and passing down a good time that I know that child will pass down to his children.. just because when I'm fishing I'm trying to help kids fish on the pier in St Joseph Michigan. Do the best I can to help those kids to catch fish.

Tandy Charley was an incredibly gifted athlete in his younger days. Heck ofva basketball player, but as a baseball player, his skill level was MLB. He had a cannon of a left arm! He could pitch for you or hold down centerfield. He also excels at putting clients on steelhead! Great guy, too!

A trick to keeping your hands warm. Bring 4 or 5 good pairs of gloves in a gallon ziplock. When they get to wet and cold trough them on another ziplock and put on a dry pair. Works great!! I've done it duck hunting and Fishing many times. Great video!!😊

I always use mono for main line i prefer the stretch for fish for strong fish n jumps can you explain why you run braid and some advantages ?
@AddictedFishing10 ай бұрын
Braid offers less stretch and higher sensitivity, which can help set the hook quicker and stronger on those long bobber runs. I also like that braid just lasts! Sometimes you can run 2-3 seasons depending on how much you fish.
