NBPOWER ... shouldn't have any problems with that battery. That's where Ive ordered my 72v 3000w motor kits from (impressed with the performance...have over 1900 miles on them and run like day I installed them). Just remember to sit towards the front of the seat, lean forward and hang on. 😎

Ordered the 5T 205 motor kit and also the lighter frame from NB Power. I'm looking at their battery but they don't mention the cell model. I'm guessing it's a generic cell which doesn't mean it's bad but would be good to know. Wonder if they can include a Bluetooth BMS? Thanks for all the tips.
@ENDOPRYSMofficial2 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure if they will include a Bluetooth bms but you can ask them. They claimed the cells were “high quality military grade” but were talking China’s military so idk😂

How would you mount a battery that heavy to a regular sized bicycle?
@ENDOPRYSMofficial2 жыл бұрын
Well you could get a battery of the same size but have them customize it to be a different shape. And get a bag for it. Other than that I’m not sure.

I never really got to test it much because my controller had malfunctioned. But it was not to bad. I would recommend asking them to use a thicker gauge of wire when making your battery.

8 gauge silicone wire is rated for 180 amps so I would ask for that.
@michaelcastro53392 жыл бұрын
@@ENDOPRYSMofficial I don't want to be negative, just a bit of information for you about electricity. The higher the voltage the fewer amps you need to get the same Wattage, so unless you're going to be using a 10,000 to 12,000 Watts motor, you don't need a cable capable of 180 amps. 72v x 180a = 12,960watts, most high-end e-bike kits cap at 3 to 5 KW, and the vast majority of kits(90%+), in general, are between 750 to 2KW(except in Europe, they suck and only get 250watts)... which means that 8 gauge is way overkill for most of that stuff.
@icantthinkofaname55492 жыл бұрын
@@michaelcastro5339 you do realize his motor and ESC are capable of drawing 150 amps right? 8 gauge wire is actually only rated to carry between 40 and 55 amps and when selecting wire gauge wattage doesn't matter, voltage affects how thick you need the insulation to prevent arcs and amperage dictates the thickness of the cable needed, I'm building a battery for my ebike and using 0/1 AWG OFC cable because its actually rated to 150a which is the current being drawn.

@chooseyourcoffin78963 жыл бұрын
No sir too expensive you need to just buy 2 36v 30 amp and connect them in series to get 72v 60amps
@ENDOPRYSMofficial3 жыл бұрын
That would be about 1000 dollars for the battery’s and connectors plus shipping and taxes. Evan then a 60 amp bms would not be sufficient enough for my controller. 150 amp is about the smallest I would go for my bike. And usually a bigger bms will drive the price of a battery pack up. So 1400 is a fair price for the right battery.
@Sologhostling3451-x9u3 ай бұрын
Sorry mate that’s wrong. You can’t wire two 36v 30ah batteries in series and expect 72v 60ah doing this will only provide you with 72v 30ah.
