The Emmys did a wonderful job in putting together this memorial. I teared up with Paul Reubens. But the tears started falling when Matthew Perry’s photo came up 😢😢.

This might seem a little strange, but I actually like watching the In Memoriam segments of the Emmys and the Oscars. It's a nice way to celebrate those great actors, directors, writers etc. who are no longer with us but are otherwise remembered for their talents.

Angela Lansbury: When “Murder She Wrote” was at its height of popularity, the trades voted to strike. Her limo pulled up to the strike line and she waved and had her driver make a U-turn and left. She refused to cross the picket line and didn’t come back until the strike ended 3 weeks later.

I remember seeing Angela Lansbury in one of her first films “The Picture of Dorian Gray”. I had read the book years earlier, at school. She was so young, and had such a beautiful voice.

If they didn't show the people singing on camera a few more artists who passed could and should have been shown. Was a bit of a gut punch seeing Adan Canto's picture up there. His passing was shocking. He kept his battle with cancer private. Still doesn't seem real. RIP to all those we lost.

It disappoints when the memoriam is listed as a 'performance'...wish it was just instrumental music playing, with no shots of the performers - only those lost this year to honor. Also - that was a strange and awkward introduction - Rob esp. looked uncomfortable, however they both seemed ill at ease. The music was great...just wish the performers were not shown...
