Hi guys! Enjoy these exercises that you can do anywhere to improve your explosive speed. I’d recommend going through each exercise for 10 reps (5 on each side for single leg exercises) resting for 30 seconds between each, then repeat for 3 sets. Below are the time stamps for all 10 exercises: 1. Jump Squats - 00:26 2. Jump Lunges - 00:58 3. Lateral Bounds - 01:30 4. A Skips - 02:07 5. Reverse Lunge Knee Drive - 02:33 6. Tuck Jumps - 03:10 7. High Knees - 03:37 8. Heel Flicks - 04:08 9. Kneeling Jumps - 04:38 10. Calf Jumps - 05:33 Try repeating 3 times per week (with a day of rest from the exercises between each day) and start seeing improvements in just a few weeks!

Hi, I just started watching your videos and they are really informative and really helps me to get ideas to train my 10 year old girl. My daughter trains on a Monday, Thursday and Sunday evenings and plays a match on Saturdays. Of course the coaches from her club would do some silly warm up drills specifically for kidslike bulldog.....and then they will do small passing drills finishing off with a match that lasts like 5 mins.....this training happens on a Thursday nigth....on a Monday night, she trains with her academy side...and they do similar training but slightly more advanced/ complex drills....sunday morning trianings is the same as academy trinaing sessions....My question is this....Why does the Academy not do these types of exercises with kids of this age....Why are they not working on speed training, agility training and so forth....is it not needed at this age ? I feel that if kids at this age start doing your training ideas, they would be better in the future. You thoughts? thanks

I'll update you guys on how this is working for me! And btw, I'm doing these 10 times for each, 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday Day one- Really tired and it was a bit hard day two- much easier but still a bit tired day 3- my leg is sore which is a good thing because that means that my muscle is stretching and I got faster!

Can you make a video on how to read defenders and kind of bait them into making bad tackles
@Shane-be9bj4 жыл бұрын
Defenders should be more concerned with you. The trick to drawing defenders is close control of the ball and do it with your head up so their not sure whether you're going to take them on or pass.hope this helps.

Try your kneeling jumps. With a jump after the first landing. Then add someone calling set and hand clap to trigger your movement. Excellent for reaction to the starring gun.
